The best way to download the app is to first go their website and from there you can click on the link which points to Android or app store. This way you will always reach to the correct app. If you try to find the app in play store, you can download the wrong one as there are few available with the same name.

Thank you for this idea, so it might good if we report this fake app and help our community not to fool by them.
This is very sad to google, they are a big company but they don't have a checker on the code either it legit or not, for them, as long they receive money that is fine.

I suspect that because of their new toko airdrop partnership the scammers are now working to lay on the ground some fake app that totally resemble the original safepal. Of course many will be enlighten again to join thr new activity of safepal project cause of rewards they are given on their task. It is also a good opportunity for thieves to lay their trap for those who are Interested to join the giveaway and instead gonna get fall on their lousy trap.

Common modus with those hackers/scammers etc. in mimicking out those wallet and other services out there which is popular where they do know that they can really phish out some privatekeys to those
people who had been fooled to believe that they are the legit ones.Thanks to this warning op where it do really help out to spread awareness but for sure there are people who get
caught with this trap, this is why its always ideal to make verification first.

Visiting the main website itself doesnt really cost an arm and leg for you to do so because if you do just purely rely with some instant google search then you would most likely ending up
on this situation.
