My client will start again to download the blockchain without the blkindex.dat
Is there a way to download it?

Start using -rescan and it will create the blkindex.dat

That didn't seem to work for me. It seemed to download the chain from the network anyway, appending it to the blk000x.dat files. At least by speed and filesize it appeared that way. I've been told the most recent bitcoin source (not 0.6.3) has a feature to import blk000x.dat files and build the index.

i know that my client will create a new blkindex.dat but it takes sooo long to load the blocks.
one by one every 10 seconds or something like this.
I have also open the btc client port and it works.

I have try to download from my debian server the blk files, but I can't use them.
the client will report an error -.-

Pull a blockchain from March 2012 from Sourceforge, which has the blkindex.dat.  Then update from there.  Still going to download a bunch, just less than starting from scratch:

Hello,

I downloaded the blk files from: http://eu1.bitcoincharts.com/blockchain/
But there is no blkindex.dat in it?

My client will start again to download the blockchain without the blkindex.dat
Is there a way to download it?
