Those pins are the connections to the terminal strip on the other side the power sire are connected to... Pure and simple they shorted against the miners metal case. Odds are the PSU is fine and should have crowbar'd.
Um, always use an insulator under the board. Those are exposed power terminals after all...
Yeah, I didn't have much space in my current build so I plopped it up directly on the miner. Completely my fault, good thing I noticed it quickly or that could've been a total loss.
