Naija is just so lawless that even those who imposes the laws breaks the laws if not there is supposed to be laws abidment towards throwing dirt's by the streets and by the roads.

For Naija, majority of the masses remains poor and na wetin their hands reach dem fit afford if not nobody for embrace living for batcha houses. And u way dey live for batcha house, e get as u go pimp and keep inside clean who no com in no go knw say u dey live Inside internal paradise.

Naija people, abeg make we realize say good health na wealth and healthy life starts from inside before outside the life fit dey shine .

Personal hygiene no be collective measure but individual so if we go fit care for ourselves the next person care for him self then we connect together we go see am say everywhere go stew on cleaning ness and hygienic for us all.

Govt way no even send for us try do the least helpful projects for us abeg make we try manage dem in a useful manner.

Make we take publicities of our areas as a collective measures by throwing our wastes for a proper waste been cuz no be everywhere ur hands face been waste been else if e bad na still we go suffer am.

The rich dey always get means to scale through some things we dey cause for ourselves but the poor no get choice.

If we keep our areas clean, e go help reduce our risks of sicknesses and the damages we dey cause to our lands.

There is something you need to understand about our country concerning us as human beings because we must also applied some principles and apart from that our country is a lawless country where each an everyone behaves the way they wanted.
It's very hard to be controlled especially people living at the rural area and their behavior, controlling of waste product of disposable materials are something very hard to handle within the habitants since we are in a lawless country, we know our Government has their own role to play but since they aren't active on their duties we must not deny that it's our right to make things fine.

Thank you for bringing this here. E dey pain me say some people see drainage as dumping ground. The one wey vex me tire be say some people dey dig toilet connect for drainage even for major cities. I no blame them sha...na our institutions wey dey weak dey cause some kind rubbish. If to say we get strong institutions wey sabi enforce laws for this country, so many people suppose go prison make them correct their brain small. I remember Cross Rivers State of those days wey be say if you drink pure water through the satchet for street, police don carry you one hand. If we have this kind things enforced like this, some kind issues them go end.

This issue of people dumping refuse into drainages na something wey don become very common in our various towns, sub urban areas and cities, and there are several factors wey dey cause such scenario, such as when a town or city no get a particular place where everybody is expected to dey dump their refuses regularly by the regulatory bodies in charge and a penalty for whoever found guilty, wey go discourage people from dumping tins inside gutter whenever they see rain dey fall, because I bet you you not fit try this kind nonsense in some parts of P.H when governor Wike was in power, as task force go just carry you one hand and you see yourself paying money wey you no been expect, and that will be a lesson to many others.

Challenges like these are caused by our human activities and we cannot expect the government to help in this situation when we needed to take actions on ourselves, if one has experienced flooding before will have a better understanding foe the needs of having the drainage free of water movement than blocking them with refuse dumps, it's also not hygienic for the environment we lived in because it will cause many diseases through stagnant water infection.

It's beneficial that the forum offers a platform for us, just like other countries with a thriving crypto scene. However, we should exercise caution when discussing negative aspects of our country in a language that can be easily understood by everyone. Every nation faces its own set of challenges, even though ours might appear particularly frustrating at times.

Blocking drainage be one thing wey dey cause flooding. If rain fall and e no see where to pass enter the next thing na to stay for street. We don already know this but na the sanitation people to take better measures to stop the thing. Market people dey guilty pass for this matter because them dey put their waste directly inside gutter. Me I go suggest say make government try make sanitation wey we been dey do before for every last Saturday of of the month to come back. Some states no dey follow do this sanitation again. At least with that one, some people go still carry the opportunity take clean their environment, e go help.

Nigerians have that bad habit of dumping refuge inside the drainage and forget the implication of such an act, I think even the environmental agency is not doing their job very well, they are supposed to enforce on does practicing such acts, watching the news there are a lot of report for flood and if there are proper drainages the impact will be minimal, let us take it upon our self to tell people to stop this act and keep our environment clean always and also take time to clean drainages too.

This na issue wey dey affect most people wey dey for Naija. E dey vex me say na dem dey block am yet wen d rains come and e come dey coz flooding, you go dey tins like "govt come to our rescue". The question I dey ask myself wen I see diz tins na weda na laziness dey cause dem to prefer to drop waste for drainage or nah just plain ignorance.

I feel say such incidences go stop wen humans stop to dey care less about things and instead of always calling the government on their shortcomings, try do the one you fit do.

Government dey fuck up but we self no dey try, we know say government no provide enough drainage, but d once wey dey we ourself don dey block am, people don turn road side, drainage and water way to dump site, so why flood no go happen and if flood happen finish last last na we go still suffer am pass. Even if government no provide enough drainage, d once wey dey we no suppose turn am to dumping site. D rate at which flood dey happen for different parts of d country e no really funny, even places wey no dey always dey affected by flood before, flood don dey disturb dem already.

Nobody dey properly dispose all those plastic bottles most especially soft drink bottles, na anywhere wey we drink am finish, na him we dey dispose d bottle and e no make sense, make me self try protect our environment, our government dey useless, dem no ready to do anything for us, so make we self dey try help each other because if d flood happen finish, na our life’s and properties go dey at risk.

Oh your state do lack (I guess that should have been the state governor problem to fix?) I don't really know about the rural areas in my state though but I won't really blame the government for this because the little ones done on the road is not even cared for. In some ways the circle of life of governors is different government fixing the same problem because is either its not done properly or the citizens carelessly spoilt it.

OP, you have two same thread here on this same topic. Why don't you lock one and leave this one for the discussion that you created it for. In my state we lack drainage and it is really affecting during raining season and flood period. I don't know what by the government don't care about our drainage anymore to help reduce the flood in our environment anytime that it rains. Anyway sha,na we dey put dirty wey dey block the drainage and no be government dey do am. na e make for big cities, government cover all the drainage so that you no go fit put any dirty inside gutter. Naija na country wey be say everybody dey do as e like forgetting say your action fit affect the next person negatively.

Me wey come be critical hygienic guy like this i no like dirty for where i dey, my surroundings like this i hardly all anything wey be trash show face, like this hygienic life na from small i get am, like this ehh naija alone na OUR ancestors go come help us becausethe matter choke, guy ehh the gutters no be weytin person fit write home about if na weytin we wan talk. them forget say na we ourselves dey cause this problems to ourselves, not even the rain you wan talk what about malaria.

In Nigeria almost all the drainage has a blockage just from the fact that citizens has turned the drainage to dump yard and they suffer from it especially during this period of rain. The government are not trying the little that is done should be appreciated and cared for because when it gets bad again we still gonna suffer it.

It's raining season and we can see the effects of this, when they are poured into drainage. How many times have you gone out during this raining season and have not seen a block drainage leading to road or other places filled with water. We mostly don't care till it affects us that like the biggest issue in Nigeria. Let's try to limit the use of rubber and plastic and even if we do use it, let's us try to dispose them properly.This causes soil and water pollution (since plastic is a non-biodegradable waste).
