These motors are of such a design that there is nothing in evolution that could or would have made them, including motive. In other words, there is no even near plausible evolution prior form. The whole thing must have been designed and built. It couldn't have evolved according to any of the theories we have or that would seem logical.

They have various means of getting around, but they all involve some kind of biological motor — and those motors have just been imaged in dramatic and colorful 3D by researchers at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech).
