First of all, may I ask if you did grow up in Mindanao or even lived in Mindanao for certain reason? If no, then I will tell you this, as a guy who grew up here in Mindanao, I can say that he can do it. Given the right time, Yes! He will achieve it.

Yes president can do it. Emagine during the first month of his term many drug pusher, drug user or even drug lords were caught or killed which these people are the most wanted long time ago. It was just the first step to discipline the cruelty of these people. how much more if he could finish his term, i think this place would be a safer place to live. Change is realy coming.
The war on drugs campaign is impressively working and turned the piece of shit country into a peaceful and progressing country now the people of this country feel more safer unlike before that robbers, kidnappers and killers does their job even in day light and public places. Corrupted officials are now being busted and behind bars unlike before that could freely steal peoples money. Shabu laboratory being busted and shutdown thousand of drug addicts already surrendered druglords in prison or they get killed. Now laws are being implemented to discipline the citizens i could proudly say that the Philippines is now prosperous.
This is kinda hard to achieve. Even now, our government is doing their best to make our country drug free. This is such an ambitious move but it's a good one. We may not totally take out drugs from our country, but atleast we have taken some serious move to make this country better and give other people a chance to re live their life away from drugs. This is quite a long journey but hoping for better days.

How can you say he failed, knowing that his term would end only on 2022. He still have five years to do it. Besides progress have done and results were seen. Less crime were listed now considering that addicts are now in jail or six feet below the ground. I feel much safer now. I do not think that he will or he can wipe out drugs in the Philippines but it would be like so rare and would be in endangered level. Hope and pray that his pursuit for drug free Philippines before his term ends will come true.

Mr . Rodrigo Duterte Do his best to become philippines free in drug. Many drug lords , pusher and even the user of illegal drugs was kill by the pulis and some of them are now in jail. But as of now many pusher are still selling illegal drugs in many place. But Im very thankful because the police and duterte do their best to less drug addicts here in my country. I hope duterte will continue what did he start . Change is coming.

No one trusts the mainstream media nowadays. If the MSM had such a hold in the Philippines, then Duterte might have been overthrown in a military coup by now. Or at least, his popularity ratings could have dipped. We are well past the era, where media had a strong influence in the election outcomes and popularity ratings.
That's what our current society is, they will make their news viral that people will share what they think and if they can relate to that. It's always been like that, and there are no media that has no bias. I admire him for his attitude and character; he doesn't let the media stray him, he's showing his true colors, unlike the past presidents that create a facade that makes us, the people in the Philippines, stupid.

Since op start this topic 6months ago and if you see the result of duterte campaign. Many druglord are in a jail and other was die . Even the little pusher and user are also in there. His campaign is very effective to the philippines become peace and sucessful country. And duterte want to return the death penalty to warn people to dont do bad things and thats good because many people who are criminal or else will not do any bad things .
Good intentions pave the road to hell! Nothing good Duterte will not do such methods. Now he had turned away from the entire civilized world. The only friends he has are China and Russia. There are dictators like him. Ask the citizens of those countries much they like their rulers.

I pretty agree with this statement. President of the Philippines has the affirmation to do his job to make his country from drugs, criminals. I believe in him that he can do that, he is doing his best to make country proud. Drugs are one of the causes of people being committed in a suicide or being criminals. He wants to cleanse the Philippines from those. People would become well disciplined and to have fear to do wrong. He wants his country to become the best among others. As least to an extend put a control on it so not to let The Philippines turn into a narco-drug countries like Mexico or Columbia. That's why they are doing operation Tokhang 2 because they are going at drugs again. Even countries with strict drug laws have people still doing drugs so you can't totally eradicate it in our society. There are still millions of Filipinos who are still drug dependent, if the government can minimize it then it will be good for the country I guess.
You can't expect to have a drug free country 100%. Unless the crusade for drugs continues it can be controlled but not totally eradicated.
Only the state should act quite differently. If the government controls but does not prohibit Drugs, then there will be a different situation. Of course, the authorities can not allow this officially, but only so you can keep the system in your hands.
