You are overthinking, there is no such way that duterte can cause a civil war. Lol, you know what if you are from the philippines there is a way people le their president down or resigned and they have done that couple of times they call it people power and which is pretty sure that would not going to happen people in the philippines simply love duterte and supports him

Duterte essentially a dictator. People like him do not surrender power voluntarily. Sure he provoked a civil war and now a few years, the Philippines will be destroyed. This of course would prevent the Americans, but democracy prevents them to do it.

People are not going to support him forever. In due course, people will turn against him. There will be two options left for him. Either he can stay back and fight, or he can flee to some foreign nation, such as Thailand or Cambodia.

Duterte idiot. He unleashed in the Philippines civil war and it can last for years. The war starting is easy but finishing is very difficult. I don't understand those people who can support the bloody dictator.

That is correct. A large part of those getting killed by the vigilantes doesn't have anything to do with drugs. Either they were at the wrong place at the wrong time, or they were framed by the vigilantes to settle the old scores.

I do think that the Philippines is covered by the civil war. Under the guise of combating drug addiction Duterte fights dissatisfied with his rule. His attempts to befriend Russia and China will lead to the deterioration of life in the country for many years.

Hahaha.For information they have no budget for now in War on drugs even the police personnel and military they didn't increase their wage I know this because im living in Philippines.I didn't know where do you get that idea but its is your opinion its free to express it.

Drug price will increase, people who will do the job will be more fierce. There will be more shooting and a lot of citizen victims in the drug war. Government and organized crime will battle and this will create a lot of expenses for each sides. Poor will be even poorer and rich will be richer. Government will be waisting millions on this war and it will go for ever and ever and ever as long as there will be money and pleasure.

War on drugs is a misery machine.

Government waste money fighting its own people. Who become more desperate and even more poor. Poor and poorer will be searching for money as government will waste their money to prosecute them as enemy of society. A society which they are part of.

Maybe there are to much people in Philippines as by 2013 statistics the number is 98 m. This would give us clear answer why they wage War on Drugs

To prosecute and kill poor people.
What to do when you have millions of poor and very poor people who are desperate in life and for social bonding choose drugs.

You just tell everyone that we have a drug problem and now we will do real war on drugs. But it is not a war on drug but on people.
Because drugs are people and people are drugs - we are biological systems which are influenced by wide range substances and externalities: food ,sun, rain, cold, warm, drug etc.

TO wage a WAR on Drugs is to wage a war on PEOPLE> THEY WANT TO EXTERMINATE THE POOR AND those THAT THEY DONT LIKE>

All our civilization governments who directly participate in War On Drugs are exterminating poor and desperate members of their societies.

Nope, third world countries does not have the same perspective , however if you are going to say that a certain people of that country would of course do have the same perspective not all but most of them. Because still we have different culture people decide according to their needs like the philippines right now the president was been able to explained to its people that this is highly needed right now.

All this anti-drug is just the limit of the market. If the addicts know where you can buy drugs as this may not know in law enforcement? They just participate in a trading scheme of the drug. Guess what will be the result?

As long as profits could be made from drug trafficking, there will be people who are ready to take the risk. If an individual has to chose from starving to death and getting shot by the vigilantes, then some will chose the latter option.

Disagree with you bro. Philippines will be drug free in few years from now like the davao city duterte are very supportive against the drug in our country and he wiill do everything for the sake of this country and the people here.

I agree with your analogy. People are longing for something maybe for warmth or just something that accepts them. They may acquire it in taking drugs, and it's bad, but sometimes you can't blame them. Unfortunately, it makes them do things that they will regret surely. It's a way to push a person off a bridge, hoping that the current government would still continue the campaign and offer help to the victims of drugs.
