Selling an email database is punishable by real law in many different countries, so in the forum should be no different although only the tag is not appropriate, these kind of sellers should be banned forever as they are selling other persons personal data, and to me this is the biggest offence of all from the above list.

Stop it. The forum is going more and more nuts. There should be a system as paxful has. Based on trades, not based on opinions.

(tho, never had a paxful acc)

I forgot more than you will ever know.

This just makes me want to tag the guy who thinks merit has a $$$ value.

is this reliable? what if I can give you 1 merit?
Is it true that I will give 1000 subscribers for my YouTube channel? I am a little doubtful about this because usually my subscribers will decrease again in the next few months after purchase

I don't think this deserved to be tagged and this kind of service available at many sites which is against the facebook terms and conditions but we can't find that they are giving real likes or botted ones.So only tag those who didn't complete what they are agreed to their customer (i.e,like fake site but no like or followers were increased.)

You might think that I am being a merciless extremist, but it is what it is.

Oh no you are absolutely right.

I should change the "can" for a "could". Because it is only in theory.
In reality it is how you say, and it will never happen Wink

But maybe in an alternate universe?

So anyway, I applied as a merit source :)
This kind of tag can very well be changed to neutral if the new owner starts building up a healthy and trustful feedback list.

However this is unlikely since most bought accounts are not used for anything reputable/worth of reading/worth anything.
This. It is why accounts which have been sold should never be changed to neutral tags. Thats my take on things. I dont want to argue but from what I have seen on this forum, a sold account is the source of scamming, account farming and shitposting to get paid. None of these should be allowed and the red mark should be the thing to make that account useless in this regard or stand as a warning for anybody who wants to deal with it. A stop on merit sending would also be good in future since now merit is valuable.

Account selling is not against the rules. But it is frowned upon. Make that clear in your head.

For me tagging a sold account is not about the fact it is sold, but to make clear to any person that would be trading with said account that the owner changed and that the history of the account if no guarantee for the behavior of the current user.

This kind of tag can very well be changed to neutral if the new owner starts building up a healthy and trustful feedback list.

Most of the account "boosting" services are scams anyway. Noobs fall for them because they are greedy for a high ranked account on fortnite but are not willing to go through the grind by working it out hard. Same with bitcointalk accounts : buying an account means buying the rank which is according to me a transgression and an attempt at future scam because of trades done/social association with other people. This would go out for for other media accounts as well if you ask me.

Just for understand you pow, because i don't want to breack any rules

I'm try to sell my freebitco.in account because i dont use it anymore.  Account is mine, no personale data are involeved (only an email address is needed for create an account) , and if someone will be available to buy it , we will go only trought an escrow and i will sign a message from old deposit addresses.

I'm legitimete to sell it or i risk red tag? Please advise me , because i'm available to delete my annuncement if this break your rules!
Listen to what your conscience says. Even if you get tagged you are newbie here and thus I am sure you will make a new account to participate this forum. But I would not tell you to do that at all.

Thats basically how most scammers operate in this forum. Make alts and farm them to ultimately exit scam someone. Then come back with a totally different persona. I wish theymos would have IP and device checks on this site for scammers but thats not going to happen because the forum does not moderate scams unlike other forums.

I think you can discuss about this with experienced DT members who will be able to give you a complete guideline. Earlier on the forum theres been a lot of topic posted regarding this. I wish you can find a possible solution from there too.

Thats the reason why we need a guideline for our DT members. I know its relatively easy who are in the DT list for a long time but for new DT members its kinda tough to take decission on many purposes.

Is there a legitimate use case for #3 and #4? Why would anyone buy these things other than for deception? To me that's not much different from buying a forum account.

I was asking because I saw it several times in the past but nobody tagged those sellers.

We should be tagging for all of those actions.

As for 3, Yeah I guess you are right, but if they are not being used maliciously, I have never seen it as a big deal personally.
After rereading 4, (accounts, not likes etc)!!?? Yeah, that's a no-no sorry I missed that one! Tongue

I often find this kind of users on the forum and I don't know if a red tag is appropriate.

What is the "general rule" for this kind of behavior?

Should do we tag:
1- sellers of Bitcointalk accounts - Yes
2- sellers of email database - Yes
3- sellers of followers (more followers on social media: fake hype and more stacks on bounties
4- sellers of social media accounts facebook, twitter, telegram or whatever
5- sellers of betting accounts with probably other owners personal data

You are correct on 1 & 2.

3. I guess this depends - if its in digital goods section I don't see an issue, I think its been there forever anyhow (?)
4. Same as 3, IMO
5. I believe that's taggable, but just my opinion.

Interested in others thoughts here too? Tongue
Thanks

Suchmoon is right, all of these deserve negs... for not reading closer! Tongue
