I did not know that.... thank you. I will calculate and try to mine XVG then ^^. Damn, i just made it stable ^^

Sadly i can't seem to make it mine on suprrnova. All my DCR shares are rejected (XVG settings and pools....) not sure why.

edit: i found why. Claymore in ethos does not have yet blake2 alghoritm to be able to mine xvg. Its in version 11 of claymore. I guess we need an update for linux ^^

Now that ASIC's are out for DCR, you are much better off mining XVG. Your six card rig would make $11/month mining DCR and $75/month mining XVG, or ~600% better profitability. You can also convert the XVG to HODL DCR if you want to.

Thank you, i will try using that and see my results.

I used to run with this config running only on ETH. I've ran it over a month and everything was stable, 0 invalid shares overtime and no gpu fails. (my gpu's are bios-moded)
Perhaps now that i add DCR to the combo it can cause instability? Not sure, i will have to test it. I am trying to have a stable 170 Mh/s ETH and a 4900-5000mh/s for DCR with these clock values. Temperature is max 60C. (57-60 C).

If you are using EthOS 1.2.9, you can change the DCRI in local.conf.

Use
Code:
set flg -dcri 10

But judging by your high hashrates it may rather point to the instability with overclocking. Since DCR shares are found more often, you are likely have a higher number of rejected shares on it. You will find the same with ETH share over a longer period operation. You can try the DCRI option, but I would suggest you dial a bit back on the mem and core clocks.

Hey guys, i am in testing phase, i run 6x rx570 8gb on ETHOS.

Right now i have these stats:

ETH - Total Speed: 175.812 Mh/s, Total Shares: 8(4+0+1+2+1+0), Rejected: 0(0+0+0+0+0+0), Time: 00:02
ETH: GPU0 29.294 Mh/s, GPU1 29.316 Mh/s, GPU2 29.297 Mh/s, GPU3 29.303 Mh/s, GPU4 29.293 Mh/s, GPU5 29.309 Mh/s

AND

DCR - Total Speed: 5274.352 Mh/s, Total Shares: 12(3+0+3+3+2+1), Rejected: 0(0+0+0+0+0+0)
DCR: GPU0 878.829 Mh/s, GPU1 879.468 Mh/s, GPU2 878.903 Mh/s, GPU3 879.100 Mh/s, GPU4 878.780 Mh/s, GPU5 879.272 Mh/s
Incorrect ETH shares: none

I am running into a problem, from time to time i get invalid shares for DCR. I want to reduce its total speed from 5200 to about 4800 and see how that works, i've understood that the function of -dcri should do that, should give more power to ETH and take from DCR? I've set -dcri 10 in the claymore.stub.conf but apparently nothing changes, i've tried to see if anything changes if i change -dcri to 30-70, nothing changes.

I do set it, save it, i minestop, update miner, putconf and reboot after each edit in -dcri but for some reason it always stays at 5200 mh/s on DCR. The only way i found to make it go lower is to lower the GPU clocks, right now globalcore is 1250 and globalmem 2200 but then the ETH mining hash power goes down also.

What am i doing wrong? Anyone else run into this problem? Thanks.
