That's why there is the internet or am I missing something?

some people don't have internet access

But he obviously has. May I ask you where you live?
Hi, I live in Argentina and I do have internet, i buy stuff from USA, but PSU are too heavy and expensive to ship...

I don't understand what you are asking.
I would not hesitate to use a multi rail power supply, so long as I knew what I was doing and knew I could evenly load all 12V rails. Why would you buy a mono rail power supply at an extra cost if it's not needed? I can't really tell you what would be a good deal in your area, though. Your market is much different than mine, unfortunately.
There seems to be some internet rumor going around that you can't use more than one power supply on one rig, but that couldn't be further from the truth. The servers bringing you the text you are reading now, they have multiple redundant power supplies and they do alright. I run lots of 6 gpu rigs, and I generally use split power supplies. I generally size one 100-200 watts larger than the other one, just for the cpu/mobo overhead.
Since you already have some power supplies, I would suggest getting a power meter like a kill-o-watt so you can figure out exactly what your gpus need for power. Then you can buy power supplies sized perfectly to your needs. I had the lucky advantage of using a power supply that would read off pre and post 12v conversion power draws though, you will need to do some simple math to figure what the gpu itself uses.

Hey Thanks for your feedback!
What i am asking is this:
How can I power my 12 gpus using the 2 psu i already have, and any combination of those PSU i have listed above? that are the only psu available to me atm.

Prices are in ARS that are only for comparison between the psu and for comparing single to dual psu prices, say 1x 1kw platinum costs AR$3299 and 2x 750w erp750-sp cost AR$2538, meaning 1kw for AR$3299 and 1.5kw for cheaper AR$2538.

Hi I'm re building some scrypt mining rigs!
I have:
6x r9 290 gpu
6x 7950 gpu
1x 1200w cooler master gold psu
1x 1000w cooler master gold psu

At this time I have:
1200w with 3 r9 290
1000w with 3 r9 290

So, I want to know what would be the best way to power all the gpus in a 3-per-mother or 4-per-mother setup.
I can't find good brands for gold or platinum certs over 1000w here at south america but i do have some bronze 80plus or mono rail available.

SeaSonic Platinum-1000 80 PLUS PLATINUM (the only 1kw available) - 3299$
Thermaltake Smart M 850W Bronze 80plus - $2050
Seasonic Bronze 80plus M12ii-650 - $1700
Sentey Extreme Rock Power erp750-sp - $1269
Sentey Extreme Rock Power erp650-sp - $1055
Prices in AR$ only for comparison between each psu... (this is where dual psu comes in)

As you see they don't have anything over 1kw, and i was thinking about going dual PSU.
What would be your recommendations?

Don't worry about motherboards and cpu/ram I've got plenty of them. Each motherboard can support 4 gpus I've tested it.

Are you sure the PSU is priced that high? Thats like 10x from the original retail price..

I cannot import anything the right way, like buying on ebay and have them ship it back here. the government won't let the package pass through customs..................

Get someone to ship you some good single PSUs from the USA?  I'm happy to do it, if you're interested.

I run quad GPU rigs on the Lepa 1600W PSUs with no trouble at all.
I have all my mother, ram, cpu, gpus, risers from usa but PSUs are too heavy and expensive to ship....

First I thought: Holy shit those PSU are expensive. Cheesy
I can recommend you this PSU I'm currently using:
Enermax Platimax 1500 W.

Why would you want two PSU? That would be a pain in the ass I think.
I cant get anything above 1kW here where I live, so I thought that i may go with dual PSU that i can buy plenty of and also is cheaper.
BUT there is no gold or platinum, only bronze
