Sir, I was banned only after I request them to delete my account and Instead of deleting the account they banned it.
With all the processing they need (whatever it is) deleting an account looks like not just from a simple button but with different associates and moving some of your basic info to other folders/database, idk if they do it manually or just by a button. But it looks like it need higher ops permission to do it or from technical team not just from a support can do it, so give it few more days to at least 2 weeks.

I understand the concern of the OP, he wanted to have all his info got deleted. Not sure what country though the OP is from, but if he is covered by https://gdpr.eu/, then the casino have no other choice but to delete his account.

On the other hand, it might take days for the casino to do it. Yes, it's very simply, just go and look for his account and delete everything. However, we have to understand that there are processes in place as well, so give or take maybe at least in a month, everything should be gone in their records or database.
I get that it might take some time, but the issue is they lied to me by saying my data was completely deleted. If they need a month, fine, just be honest about it instead of claiming everything’s gone when it’s clearly not. They didn't follow the rules at all.

And to make it worse, instead of actually deleting my account like I asked, they just banned it. I didn’t ask for a ban. I wanted it gone. I made deposits from my bank account, and I wanted all that info wiped from their system. But they still had the balls to say, "my data was totally deleted." How can that be true if my account and all that info are still there, just banned?

The other Moderator Kirito89 then claims that the personal info is deleted but the account info remains in their data- Like how? What do you mean?

It all feels super shady to me.

Sir, they can't keep a single piece of my data, I doubt you know things about GDPR and things about Right to Erasure ("Right to Be Forgotten") – Article 17 GDPR.

That's lie, you don't want to use your main account and file your petition against DuckDice.io, if you were banned don't you know that this particular account is not saved because it will soon be ban, except the acct you're emphasizing That's ban should be the acct you have with DuckDice.io not bitcointalk account.

You have a genuine reason why you want them to delete your account. But you should give them some time to start and finish the process. But you have to be aware that your data might still be somewhere even if they claim it has been deleted. So, in future, don't give out any information to a third party if you don't want them to be in public domain.

I think OP is not referring to his Bitcointalk account when he said it was banned. He asked that his DuckDice.io account be deleted and it was only banned, that's his major concern.

When you sign up and register for any casino first you should read all their terms, some of them can keep you personal information even after you close your account and request deletion.
This is not the case only for casinos but for many websites that are asking from you to send them documents and payment information.
I am not defending duckduck in any way and this is a bad behavior from any casino.

If I may suggest, perhaps wait for a few more days as per what Kirito89 explained on the screenshots below? That the account and data removal happens gradually, with the account being banned as the first step. I believe this is due to wiping an account is not as simple as clicking a button. They need to dissociate the account from any data and transaction stored in their database.

Rest assured that DuckDice is more than compliant to GDPR data removal, as there was a neighboring case that actually got too long and too complicated than necessary because the player requested data removal and DuckDice did exactly that, wiping it clean. One year later, the player requested some verification of provably fairness and his record, which can no longer retrieved due to the purging.

So... yeah, maybe few more days while they gradually burn anything related to you from their database?

And do you already read the ToS of the site? There should be a section about the accounts and how to close them.
Most of the casino I do use usually have a section to close an account, I have never checked the casino op mention but he can as well just change password to a random password where he can't remember to login again. There was I local site I used before and for some reasons I decided to close my account, that was how it is till date and even when I tried to login it says "invalid credentials" meaning account was actually deleted and I don't even receive any marketing mails.

Just know that your account can not just be deleted. They will use it to track if you register on the site again. Expect those centralized KYC sites not to delete your account for at least 5 years or more or forever. Because you are banned, that does not mean your account will be deleted.

If the government wants information about you, know that they will easily hand it over to them. Despite that you have been banned.

Why did you request them to delete your account? You could only forget about It, I mean, they will not sell your data or do a crazy stuf like that.

What happened, On 2 February I request duckdice to delete my account,
A moderator told me on live support to contact [email protected] for account deleting.

However,today I visited duckdice.io and asked live support if they have deleted me account and Moderator Miki said (From what I see your account has been banned and all over deleted)

I searched my User name:Ahpt. and I found it was still there. The account was banned.While I requested them to delete it not to ban it.
Even thought they asked for my confirmation in email to delete the account.

I asked why does it still exist and he get disappeared of the chat.
New moderator name kirito appear in the chat and said( All data will be deleted as per the request. Currently the account is banned and data deletion is in progress)

I asked him its been 4 days since I requested the deletion, why its not yet deleted?



My account still exist while I have requested them to delete it, I told them I dont trust them now and they should delete my Account ASAP.

This feels Shady and honestly sounds like it goes against GDPR.
