I have 5 of l3+ of the second batch, 1 board was dead two weeks ago.

Does the bitmain support offer to send you the broken board so you can fix it yourself or do you have to send them the whole miner ? (which would generate a huge loss due to not running)

Just send the broken hashboard, not the whole unit. Same I have 2 dead hashboards

Their support told me i need to send back the whole unit, not just the broken board.
I'm waiting till around the end of the warranty then send it back for a replacement.

IMHO, buying Asics for the "good and known" algorithms is not a good way to profit, there are many cons involved such as shippment, delivery time, importation taxes and of course, the mining difficulty for the coin at the time you receveid the machine, it tends to be way higher than expected.

I had an L3 not L3+ and after 1 month it started rebooting twice a day. Didn't matter what pool or coin I was mining, even just straight LTC on litecoinpool and it would happen. It wasn't much of an issue, it rebooted and went back to mining but I could hear it spin the fans up full speed testing them when it rebooted and i'd check and it had stopped mining so it would lose a couple of minutes rebooting and getting back to full speed. I couldn't find any reason for it, not even close to over heating it was in a cold garage in winter and no dust or anything. I sold it on Ebay for a nice profit when Litecoin mooned just in case it was indicative of future problems.
Really if that's all it ever did then it's a non issue. Only concern was not knowing why it started doing it and if something else was going to go wrong with it forcing me to send it back to China for repairs. It was only 400 watts so it wasn't worth hosting with giga watt which does bitmain repairs onsite, if I had the L3+ I would have just sent it there to have it hosted so if it broke I didn't have to ship back to china. I got it on Alibaba and it was either first batch or one of first batches, Bitmain wasn't selling it on their site to the U.S. at the time and as far as I knew there were no L3+ at the time. So whatever the minor issue was it could have just been it was first batch and it's fixed now, and even the issue wasn't bad since it went right back to mining full speed after the reboot.
Also it works great on nicehash and coins with short block times. I remember the KNC Titan had issues even merge mining doge sometimes, the L3 worked great and has extra nonce support for nicehash no firmware upgrade needed. So it was good and reliable but I can't say over time if it stays that way.

Hey there I know it is early to ask that, but has anyone already experienced problems with the L3+ miners from Bitmain ?

I recently ordered 2 (not shipped) and I might order more, but I wanna know if they are as unstable as the S9´s are
