CampBX and MtGox allow Dwolla transfers.  There's no way Dwolla doesn't know what those companies do, so don't worry about it.

I believe there was a kerfuffle involving BitInstant and Dwolla a year or more ago, but it wasn't over Bitcoin directly.

I used Dwolla to deposit into CampBX exchange, I hope they don't ban bitcoin users, I don't see any legitimate reason to do so now that bitcoin is starting to hit the mainstream and being more accepted as a form of payment at many small businesses.

I went to use Dwolla with BitInstant recently and noticed it wasn't listed as an option. Have some $$$ sitting in Dwolla now that I need to get back out.

Wonder if BI is working on this with them?

You understand and agree that you will not engage in the following activities:

    Use the Dwolla System without written consent to operate or engage in any business regulated by FinCen, including the money service business;
    Act as a marketplace and/or exchange for virtual currency products without prior written consent;

Key phrase there being "without prior written consent."  I would agree with others that this is just CYA.

Probably just to protect their own asses I'm guessing, in case some funds used for illegal activity goes through them.

Can you quote the part of the Dwolla Terms that you are referring to?

I used Dwolla directly in conjunction with Bitinstant/Mt. Gox and there were no issues. Hope Dwolla doesn't get on the anti-bitcoin bandwagon that seems to be going courtesy of the jealous fiat mongers.

I read another thread on here that said technically, according to their TOS, Dwolla  does not allow bitcoin users to use their service?

Is this true?  If so, how does mt.gox and others get away with it?
