I accidentally bought instead of sold this morning so I feel your pain! Well minimal pain as it is. I did wonder what would happen if I tried to buy a bitcoin at a much higher price. I thought this is what caused those huge spikes because of mistakes, but no the system fills it with the lowest asking first so thats good.

Yesterday I thought that some limit buy orders in the falling market would be a good thing to put in place, but being dyslexic & distracted from having builders in the house I went & confused quantity of Bitcoins for price, I couldn't work out what had happened when I looked afterwards as it seemed that my limit orders had all been immediately filled at a much higher price than I'd put them in for, at the current market buy price in fact, luckily no harm was done as my mistake made these into only small buy orders but it shocked me how easy it was to mess up & how grave that could possibly have been if I'd been using some other quantities & prices, anyway just curious about how others may have made similar slip ups for better or for worse
