I never notice any of us dey really shook head for mining discussion for forum. Bitcoin mining na one area way we dey slack for the crypto space, I know say the power situation for Nigeria no favour miners because nepa no be people way you fit rely on. Miners go need run their whole operation on alternative source of power like generators and solar.

I wish say na the good old days be now, bitcoin miners for don plenty for Naija people wey dey here because we wey dey the forum know the benefits wey come with mining bitcoin. But as we no get join early to start mining, we go still follow trade bitcoin with others because even for there e get a lot of benefits too.


Even if block reward don drop now, the amount wey bitcoin dey hold now suppose encourage person to still run mining, if the money dey enough to fit run am.

That one dey sha, even if Naija get miners e go dey very few. Mind you that no be to get deep pockets be the koko, the main thing na to make profit from your mining investment, why you think say miners dey relocate go where electricity and other conditions dey cheaper/favorable, na because them wan make profit na, no be say dem no fit arrange mining rig for their country. So you fit dey rich for Naija, buy all the things wey you need, but based on the money you dey spend on things wey you suppose get for cheap, mining no go dey profitable for you and you go gats shut am down, another thing na competition, if you go fit generate enough hashrate to compete with other miners, the best thing in such situation na to join an extant big mining pool sha, and earn based on the hashrate wey your individual miner dey contribute, e no easy oh.

You do not need to know about coding or programing before you can be a miner. Let me explain further:

Bitcoin miners needs miners (ASICs) and electricity. If the miner can not be a mining pool, he will need to join a mining pool.

A miner should know how to calculate the electricity he is using and if it is going to be profitable. This is more about basic mathematics and basic physics.

There are even mining calculators on some online sites or mining pool sites.

Well me no fit say no person dey min bitcoin for 9ja because e dey secret as people no want attract too much eyes for them self, if we still find well we go see say e get some people wey dey mine am here but very hard for them to appear like that.

E good to sabi say we get resources wey we fit use learn about Bitcoin mining. Even though e hard for us to mine Bitcoin for Naija, sake of light and equipment cost, e still important make we get correct informate. I no sure say we get any bitcoin miners for we naija as it stands now. In those days, with the least desktop computer, your good to go but now, e don cast.

For your mata of teaching or learning about bitcoin from schools, I no think e go dey feasible because bitcoin no get curricular for that mata of school issues. Even some teachers and lecturers are still yet to comprehend the blockchain to know better how it works.

I'm not sure how well electricity is supplied in your area, but if you're the type that receives constant electricity for more than 12 hours a day, it might not be a problem for you, but if you're the type that receives "two to four" hours light, it will be a huge hindrance for you unless you have another alternative to generate your own electricity to power your mining rig. Remember the cost of electricity also matters here.


Apart from electricity, the only obstacle you'll face is funds to purchase a mining machine. You should understand that you cannot mine bitcoin with any system. You've probably come across some website advertising that you can mine through their mining cloud by just paying a charge and leaving your PC connected to their server, but you can't.
To mine, you'll need to invest in some ASIC hardware.


Don't be suprised when you find out that your claim is not totally correct as majority of people here don't really know how to coding most just know only the basic of some programming languages nothing more. And to your question, yes, you can mine without knowing how to coding.

Currently, no member of this forum in Nigeria mine bitcoin but that doesn't mean Nigerians don't mine bitcoin.
