Simple answer .... No,

Most long term "investment" schemes have turned out to be scams, poorly thought our business plans, or wannaba fund managers "investing" (i.e. destroying coins) in the prior two.
Bitcoin is deflationary in nature so there is little need for interest to maintain purchasing power.
Incidentally, that's proven true with most BTC businesses, too. On average, companies or individuals looking for startup capital will likely fail within a few years.

On the same page, though. Nobody in the community has a long-enough reputation to risk sending money to for a % of interest, except those established outside of Bitcoin. It's spurred a ton of people with passing interests to suddenly start various businesses, whether finance or productive, and without a track record, you'd probably be better off just investing in upfront ponzis (bitcoinduit.com as an example) or using SDice.

There are sites like btcjam which provide p2p lending but I don't believe they publish any stats showing ROI% (after default losses).  Not sure what you mean you were in a BTC Pool which repaid with interest.  I assume you don't mean mining.  Most likely it was some form of a ponzi scheme.  If you didn't lose money you simply stole from later investors victims who did.  Count yourself lucky.

Hi, I have seen many references to earning interest.  Most recently I was in a BTC pool whereby the initial contributions were repaid to the winners PLUS interest.

Is there a (reputable) place that people are earning interest on their BTC?
