That's good news from developers, they are paying more attention to crypto. But this is just an integrated system from a 3rd party, not from Facebook. If Facebook offers its own system for crypto, it will be a big boom for crypto

You can now send and even earn bitcoin and litecoin on WhatsApp using the tutorial available on this link
https://blogs.airdropalert.com/send-receive-earn-bitcoin-whatsapp/
That's good to see that but what thing that makes me ont feeling surprised about that caused by that's created by the third party and it's not officially created by the whatsapp company itself.
But i will try to download liteim app and just try to get my first impression to send bitcoin through my whatsapp.
This will be a very interesting thing to see how it works and how simple that add ons.

Well it is a good one but I believe it would be best if the owners of whatsapp implement crypto directly into it's platform without someone developing a bot because it is a norm for me and I see nothing too big in it if someone created a wallet for whatsapp, it has been very rampant in telegram and just newly introduced to whatsapp, let's just keep watching and hope for the best in this our great community because the best of us is still yet to seen.

I hope this won't attract hackers to one's Whatsapp and tap into messengers and calls thereby obtaining some vital information. For now, am sticking with familiar methods until certified safe by Whatsapp management.

Ok i know, this is kind of a whatsapp bot and can send and receive cryptocurrency by integrating the cryptocurrency wallet.
But the important thing is, the bot should be secure enough to be used by many peoples.
The more peoples using it, the more possibility that peoples with bad intention will try to hack the coins from it.

I don't want to trust things like this until I come across a physical person who has profited from it. I would also want to warn people to be cautious about it.

I think I would just stick to the current wallets that I am using rather than trusting my funds there.
But it is a good thing that other platform are now embracing crypto and trying to put it on their system.

I already encountered this news. One of the innovations that are interesting after the radio. But I have doubts about its safety. Because, in such traceable systems, events develop differently.  Huh

This is actually great, I spend more time on WhatsApp and most times it is very hard to leave what I'm doing on there, bit now I can really do send and receive on WhatsApp. Thanks for the update I hope all our wallets are secured
If this really happens it is certainly an advantage to people who often use whatsapp. But we are not right or not, because here many people are confused whether this is true or just mere fraud. And there are no people talking about this even though most people use whatsapp more. And I hope this is real, because I am still afraid to click on the link above.

I don't want to do that because that is too suspicious for me and I will stay away from installing any device which I don't know.
I only know WhatsApp is only for a chat with other people, but if that app is really good, then I think it almost the same as what I saw in the telegram.
I will wait for more reviews about the apps and if I can see many people have using the apps, and they say the apps are good, then maybe I will try it later.

Is this official ? I saw links flying around WhatsApp and I didn't click because I'm always very skeptical not to install spyware. Probably it's from a third-party dev, not sure. How does it work? Does it work like papaya bot stuff on telegram?  Even if it's not from WhatsApp officially and it works, it's a welcome development because we are already sure that feature can be embedded on WhatsApp.

I'm just gonna leave this here: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/whatsapp-flaw-let-hackers-install-spyware-on-cellphones-when-people-made-or-got-calls/

Also, since this 'tool' was created by a 3rd party and not Whatsapp, it's very likely that it'll have little to no exposure to the masses, unless the company behind it goes for an aggresive marketing campaign (very unlikely), or 'word of mouth' and social media help this tool gain some attention. All in all, cool stuff, but I don't think it'll that successful, tbh.

This is just marketing from the affiliated token that I won't do the favor of advertising...
1. Another application already made it possible send/receive crypto with whatsapp, making this somewhat old news
2. This has nothing to do with whatsapp/facebook, it's from an independent project building on top of whatsapp.
3. It won't reach 1.5 billion people because 1.5b would need to install the bot in order to send/receive crypto.
It's not bad news, but I wouldn't call it good news. It's more irrelevant news, it's to do with an airdrop etc...

It is absolutely a good news. But it's not really good to store your Bitcoin and other crypto on wallet that doesn't allow you to have your own private keys. It is always risky even for a big company.

only a tool developed to receive or send bitcoins and other alt, but this service was developed or created by third parties, not from whatsapp developers themselves. therefore I am more comfortable and safe to use my wallet to do all the services, because it fits the function and purpose of each.

Not at all possible thing to do. May be you can try the reddcoin application to make that payment option possible on chatting.
I have doubt does any one believe that world giant allow us to send the payment at the chatting app alone without any updates. I am not sure that will not be possible. If they legally accept also believing the centralized business it not worthy.

I thought it was some native or internal option offered by whatsapp that they announced now but looks like it is third party add on or bot service, i would wait and look for authenticity and reviews before thinking to use it, it would have been better if whatsapp introduced something like this itself.

It seems that I will only read the tutorial, but I have not been interested in this method before there is real evidence. And I use WhatsApp only for communication with friends or family. The right way for me to get bitcoin is to buy it in exchange and trade to get real results. And I will not waste time in vain. Thank you in advance for this information.

Anyway, it's a good development, it makes conversation from bitcoin to litcoin easier, it could create more awareness about cryptocurrency to wild range of the app users.

Interesting, but how much coins you get? You tried it? And you think it worths the time? I hope this is not somehow to hack whatsapp and get some viruses because i not try it yet.
You can read the article it's not really that kind of giving you a chance to earn bitcoin but it allows you to exchange ltc to bitcoin just like an exchange. I see most of these days bots just like on telegram but this is a good development made by whatsapp.

This is being picked up by many cryptocurrency news sites days ago and one of the many good news that flowed recently into the whole marketplace. I am sure this can be helping in some ways with our desire for cryptocurrency's mainstream adoption and can entice many new players in this field. Let's see if other similar platforms will soon also go into cryptocurrency. No matter how small this might be, this remains to be a one step forward for the industry.

I think its more like,  papaya bot on telegram. But it is cool to see such innovation come on whatsapp. The only downside is that many crypto enthusiasts prefer crypto wallet bots on telegram rather than whatsapp
