The business model absolutely makes sense.
Let's say you want to buy an amazon.com gift card at a shop. You pay $100 for the gift card. The shop owner gets a 10% commission.
You go ahead and purchase an amazon kindle for $100 with said gift card. Where did the $10 suddenly come from?

Would gift cards be classed as pyramid schemes?
Ok, let's apply your business model to the gift card example. So, I come every month to a store and buy $100 amazon gift card, and every time I buy I get $200, which i can't use for another 12 months. After 1 year and spending $1200, now I have $2400 worth of gift cards. I wonder how long will it take for that store to go out of the business? How can that gift card reseller keep up with 100% bonus for every customer?

Two basic characteristics of pyramid scheme are here:
  • Big affiliate bonus so people have incentive to do drag their friends and family into this
  • Locking up funds to give you some more wiggle room, while new members are paying for the old ones.

I should probably add that the business is interested in the customers going on as many cruises as possible to get the maximum amount of profits. It has signed deals with the big brand cruise providers and we are therefore getting these amazing deals. The cruise providers are interested in consistent business. The company has representatives from the cruise providers who work with us.

It looks like I can't upload images yet since I don't have a high enough rank.

You can still post the link to the image, it just won't embed.

The free cruise vacations that are given to the sales team and are only redeemable by you. They're non transferable so I presume that is why they want people to sign up with their actual details.

I do agree. It would be amazing if we could receive our earnings in crypto. I will file a recommendation and I will let you know if this might become a possibility.

At the very least you want to add support for other, bigger name custodial wallets such as Skrill, Neteller and PerfectMoney - which should not be as red-taped a task as direct crypto address support - since I haven't heard of any of these Payoneer alternatives you guys support, and probably most other crypto users as well. Hooking up with reputable payment platforms is everything when making an affiliate program.

I will fix the button the right away. Besides payoneer we also support i-Payout, Hyperwallet and PayQuicker

Most affiliate programs allow participants to withdraw directly to their bitcoin wallets. Is there any reason why this cannot be implemented?

The KYC requirement of Payoneer really turns me off...

In the first 12 months of membership you can use up to 60% of you accumulated Cruise Dollars. That translates to $120 every month. The remaining $80 are not lost but are made available in the following years. So within 5 years you pay in $6000 but receive $12000.
You don't need to wait either, you can start spending your Cruise Dollars straight away. If the vacation is more expensive you are able to pay the difference out of pocket.
But that's just a tip of the iceberg, as inCruises is just throwing money and other perks at those that keep bringing new people in. First you get 150 USD for every new member that you bring, then you get 15  USD per month for every new member you refer as long as he keep paying for his membership, then there is a free cruise when you bring 5 new people in etc. The whole focus of this scheme is  to keep bringing new people in, as they need them in order to keep giving such bonuses. The only ones who are similarly aggressive when it comes to bringing new users in are pyramid/MLM schemes. I simply don't see a legit business model that can give such bonuses.

Funny thing, I found bunch of YT videos in which people are openly advertising this as a MLM Cheesy.

See one of the posts above. MLM companies do not allow their distributors to sell products in high quantities.
We do.

MLMs produce products and let their distributors pay for the margins.
We pass the savings onto the customer as Cruise discounts.

In MLMs the customers have to recruit others.
With incruises we do not allow the customers to recruit anybody. It is not possible!

In the case of gift cards about 20% is never redeemed. 10% is commission for the shop that sold them. I am certain that gift cards can be sold at a huge discount without the company actually taking a loss.

I used to work at a major airline company for a year. One of the perks was that we could purchase tickets for the price of the real seat cost.
I booked a round-trip from Europe to Mexico to Miami and back in first class with 2 interconnecting business class flights. The price I paid for the ticket was €500. The market price for the same ticket without discounts was over €20,000. This was an "R2 standby code" ticket. They have stopped giving employees R2 tickets for first class but they still exist for business and economy.

Most airlines are usually overbooked but the airlines are really good at estimating the "no shows". For every single flight there is usually a prediction of how many people will never show up. It is scary to see how accurate this prediction actually is.

When you add up bulk discounts, commissions, unredeemed vacations and other commissions you can totally afford to give people huge discounts.

That's right. The member pays $100 a month. After 13 months you are allowed to use 70%. In the first 12 months it is 60%.

You forgot to explain from where that bonus comes from, as after 1 year of paying the membership you end up with 2400 Cruise Dollars, that you can then use for cruises.

No matter how you wrap it up, this still looks like another pyramid scheme, as that's the only way your business model can work. What would happen if new people stop buying membership, how could you pay old ones 100% yearly bonus?

Coming back to your question what would happen if people would stop their memberships. The answer would be similar to what would happen if people were to throw away their gift cards which had remaining credits left on them. What would happen to people who sign up for gym contracts but stop visiting? Would the gym lose money?

We have over 800,000 paying members. We provide cruise companies with customers and are therefore able to secure the best rates.
We have provided financing to cruise companies during the lockdown too and have secured additional discounts.

Perhaps you meant to ask what would happen if the company goes bankrupt?

In that case you will receive all your fiat currency back that you have paid in membership fees. incruises pays for financial insurance that guarantees that in the case of a bankruptcy all members get their money back.

From your FAQ:

How do I receive my compensation?

inCruises pays its Partners through Payoneer®. Each time a commission is earned, we will transfer your earnings to yourinCruises Wallet and notify you. You can then transfer your wallet balance, assuming it is greater than $50.00, to Payoneer® in order to receive your funds via bank transfer to your local bank or Pre-paid Visa or MasterCard issued by Payoneer®

You should support more payment methods for payout besides Payoneer if you want more affiliates to sign up with you (as well as making the affiliate signup button more prominent, I for the life of me can't find it).

Care to explain how can someone get 2400 worth of "cruise credits"  that can be used for cruise vacations if you invest 1200 USD. That's 100% bonus that is coming out of thin air? (in this case most likely from new recruits).

We have over 800,000 worldwide members that we provide to the cruise industry. We are therefore able to secure excellent discounts.

Our business is very similar to a gym membership.

Only paying members get access to their Cruise Dollars. If you cancel your membership or if you don't pay for over 6 months you lose your accumulated cruise dollars.

This is why I encourage everyone to make the most of their membership and go on as many cruises as possible. If you keep paying your membership you obviously remain a member and will keep your access to all cruise ships.

The offer makes absolutely no sense.

Whatever the ultimate company is, it is raking in $100 in signup fees and paying out apparently $2-3k worth of value.

From what I understand, you pay 100 usd per month, so it's not one time fee, but more of a subscription model, in which you invest 1200 usd in 12 months, and you get 2400 credit dollars. Trick is that after a year you can only use 60% of that amount, and each subsequent year it goes up by 10%, meaning it takes you 5 years to unlock that amount. Obvious question is from where all that bonus money comes, and even more obvious is the answer Cheesy

So yeah, I don't see how their business model can keep working if new people stop joining in, meaning this is probably just another pyramid scheme, hiding behind MLM.

That's right. The member pays $100 a month. After 13 months you are allowed to use 70%. In the first 12 months it is 60%.

In regards to people questioning if it is an MLM. It isn't.

1.Members are not able to refer anybody or sell the membership. Only sales partners can do that.

2.Actual MLM companies do not allow "distributors" to sell products in high quantities. They don't allow you to sell on amazon, online, in shops or at any other on or offline venue. That's the actual catch with MLM companies. They don't want you to sell the product and make it impossible to do so.

In incruises we are allowed to sell the product anywhere we like. We are allowed to open our own field office, we are allowed to sell at trade fairs, we are allowed to make our own websites and sell / advertise online.

The business model is very similar to a gym membership. The Cruise Dollars accumulate every month so I encourage everyone to go on as many cruises as possible. Because we provide a lot of customers to the cruise industry we get special discounts.

I would agree with the judgement that this is likely a MLM scheme. Whilst that is not necessarily a bad thing, the chances of this being a pyramid scheme with no product to back it up is high. Unless OP is willing to hold referral money in escrow, I wouldn't recommend anyone sign up to this.

Just took a quick look at InCruise, and if anything it looks to me like a convoluted MLM scheme hidden behind cruises, discounts, referrals and usual mumbo jumbo typical for similar schemes that will work as long as there is constant influx of new people.

Are you looking for an Affiliate Program that pays well?
Would you like to give your family, loved ones and friends five star luxury vacations?
Would you like to make good money while working from home?

Look no further!

This referral program could be right for you!

What does the customer get?

We sell cruise memberships that are just $100 a month. The membership fee can be paid in USD (credit/debit card/wire transfer), BTC, ETH, LTC or BTCash.

The customer gets $2400 in Cruise Credits every year that can be used to purchase luxurious cruise vacations from most major cruise liners. Some of the companies that can be purchased from are: MSC, Royal Carribean, Disney, Princess, Carnival, Celebrity Cruises, Norwegian, Cunard, Oceania and many more.

How can we afford to give the customer such excellent deals?

We have over 800,000 paying members and we are therefore able to secure excellent bulk discounts.

What is the difference between a member and a partner?

A member is someone who pays $100 a month and gets Cruise Dollars in return. A member can't refer anybody and can't make any sales.

A partner is someone who makes sales, refers others, earns money and gets free cruise vacations.

What do I get as a partner?

For every sale that you make you will receive a one time payment of up to $150 within 24 hours.

Additionally you will receive a bonus of $15 a month for every person you refer. You will keep getting this payment as long as the customer remains a member. (At least 30 sales have to be made to get monthly recurring payments.)

Is this worth the time and effort?

You only have to make the initial sale once but you will keep getting the $15 payments every month without any further sales!

For example: If you sell 1000 memberships you will get approximately $150,000 as one time payments and in addition you will receive $15,000 every single month without making any further sales.

How will I receive my money?

There is a choice between different payment methods. You can get the money through an international wire transfer, payoneer or you can order a mastercard which you can use to withdraw your money.

But wait, there is more!

Additionally you will be given free Cruise Vacations after making just five sales! That's right! You only have to make five sales and you will be given free cruise vacations for the rest of your life! As long as you maintain at least five memberships you will get free cruise dollars for your free vacations!

You can go on free cruise vacations and take your family, friends and loved ones with you!

You will be a fully qualified sales partner and you will receive at least $2400 in Cruise Dollars every year for Cruise Vacations. The Cruise Dollars accumulate so you don't have to use them all at once.

You will be given additional Cruise Dollars based on your sales performance.

What about sales material?

As a partner you will get access to our sales dashboard. Here you will be able to make your own referral link. You will get access to media, logos, banners, flyers, documents and training material.
You will get insights so you can observe how many people clicked on your link, how many signed up and how many became a paying member or partner.
You will get your own company email address where you can import your leads and sell through email marketing. You will get access to our Facebook marketing tools.

Should I wait before joining the affiliate program?

That is up to you. If you seriously consider making money from this I recommend to get familiar with the product and to get familiar with sales techniques.

The incentives are amazing right now and they probably won't stay this good once the company has reached enough members. If you are looking to make good money and enjoy free cruise vacations you should join sooner rather than later.

Shut up already! How do I sign up?

Woooah, take it easy there.
I would suggest that you should take a look at my sales pitch in service announcements first to get familiar with the product. You will find a link there that will take you to our website. On the website you are able to sign up as a sales partner. To become a partner there is a one time fee of $295. You are able to refund this fee within two weeks should you change your mind. Please take a look at our video to learn about the membership club.

Here is the link to my sales pitch where you will also find the company website:
