It's not "from" eASIC, it's from VMC/ActiveMining, which is using eASIC's quick FPGA->ASIC conversion process, which results in slower, larger chips. eASIC isn't taking responsibility for actually delivering the chips to customers, or assembling boxes, or whatever.  That's all up to VMC.

It's also over priced.

Keep your eye on the website. I hear the prices may be dropping as they get closer to release...

 Wink

It will be a wise move because actually they are selling a GHs/ for 14.5$... way too high for a product that will be available from Nov/Dec at the earliest.

edit1: e.g. btcmine.ch starting from September the 9th (20:00 CET) will sell chips/miners staring from 5$ per Gh/s to a maximum of 8$ per Gh/s (1600$ - 200Gh/s)

Another pre order. Sell now, deliver in December... Thanks but no...

I do agree we're all fed up with pre-order ASIC vendors,
I was merely pointing out that in either case, you like the pre-order scheme or not, VMC prices seem ARE WAY too high.

FTFY

LOL you're right, thanks for the fix.
Just wanna say that I did it right the first time:

If you have $350000 to spend, you can now buy brand new Fast Hash One Platinum from eASIC.

This boy will hash away at 24TH/s.

103 days, 21 hours and 10 minutes.
Kinda meh. It's not available until Nov/Dec at the earliest and then you might as well hold out for 12x2Th CoinTerra TerraMiner IVs for $168k.

Or wait till nov/dec for the super sales.

There is no way someone could be that stupid to purchase a fast hash near that price (I hope)
