There is more to Bitcoin than bitcoins.
Bit-Pay offers "donate now" buttons and links (like the PayPal one they have on their site now) and they can specify what % of their incoming funds they want kept as BTC, or auto-converted to a local currency.

https://bit-pay.com/charities.html

By local currency, we can put a direct deposit every day into their bank account in 9 countries:  USA, Canada, Mexico, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, and Netherlands.

A similar service is also offered by paysius.com. They also explain Bitcoin well to anyone willing to read for five minutes.

Why bother with that if there isn't going to be lots of donations on a daily basis.

No need for all that MtGox, verification and exchange rigmarole.
That's why I said easywallet.org and bitcoinmonitor.net, mtgox it only needed if you receive a lot of donations / want to cash out.

Blockchain.info is ok but i'm not sure if it has payment notifications or not... ok it does, so i'll suggest this, thanks!

I would go to blockchain.info and create an account and address. Put the address on your page to let everyone know where to send donations.

Then when it seemed there was enough to cash out I'd just send it to SpendBitcoins.com (JeremyWest) or one of the other similar fairly well known ones that cash out to Paypal or ACH/Bank.

No need for all that MtGox, verification and exchange rigmarole.

Alternately you could just use bitaddress.org to create an address and print the paper wallet. Then when it's time to cash out you can import the key into blockchain.info or MtGox. This way is just so super easy to do, no sign up, no accounts etc. until you actually have something to cash out.

I asked offliberty.com to accept Bitcoin donations and they want to know which service to use... what should I suggest?

So far I'm thinking:
- easywallet.org and bitcoinmonitor.net combo until they've acquired sufficient BTC for a visit to mtgox.com
