Sorry,  this is my first thread... price is $37 for decent wooden sopilka & $46 for top quality one (difference is not very significant and regards to outward appearance not sounding) wooden and ebonite sopilkas I have priced equally - both options have their advantages and disadvantages. Worldwide EMS shipping costs for small parcels may vary in our country depending from where one`s sending it... ($39 - $55 I think is passable for good thing).

Ukrainian traditional flute - SOPILKA [so-pEEl-kah] - initially looked as a European "tin whistle" or SVIREL but in XX century a talented Ukrainian musician and inventor Deminchuk came and sopilkas (piccolo, descant, treble, tenor,...) got chromatic scale tuning with advanced simple consequential fingering - becoming unique wind instrument - simple and traditional, with rich sound and academic instrument capabilities (easy halftones, 2.5 octave range) and became valued, loved and popular in Ukraine - see & hear some short videos here:

The wonder of fingering making sopilka much easier to master (when compared with "conventional" Western RECORDER or TIN WHISTLE etc) is
repeating of fingerings (simple themselves) of respective notes in first and second octaves
(with only one exception in second and few exceptions in the third octave) -

{Well, octave shift in instrument sounding with the same fingering is provided by certain changing of blowing intensity - higher notes needs a bit more strong air flow - as in recorder flutes...}
