I think virwox is probably the easiest way if you don't want to provide ID, however I think circle is the best with ID.

Unfortunately most exchanges for credit card/paypal have really low limits, so you'll only be able to buy tiny amounts at a time.

Is Gemini a good exchange for buying bitcoin. It is a regulated exchange based in New York.

If you identify yourself (ID card etc.) coinbase is very easy and fast. I just linked my bank account and could transfer money and buy bitcoins very easily.
Ugh, Coinbase is horrible.  They'll close your account for almost nothing, and forget about staying anonymous.  Plus I do believe there's still a delay in getting your bitcoins after you put in a buy order.  You could do wesellcrypto.com, but their markup is incredible.
Just found out their exchange if you want to transfer your bitcoin back to fiat is quite high compared to any others listed. Can anyone verify this? I didn't think they were as high as using virvox or circle.
Cheers to all if they can help demystify this assumption for us.

I have bought several amount of bitcoin with local currency via localbitcoin. But the rate is quite high than market but it is like most secure if you can meet the people near you face to face. Good luck other option required lots of steps, verification, fee etc.

For paypal: try virwox, circle (I don't have experience with them) or any other exchanger like bitfinex,btc-e if you are ok with verification process.

I feel for more conservative people, or people that don't know much or are apprehensive, that Coinbase is the choice.  Being California based helps and I think they are becoming a trusted giant.  For myself I have a couple wallets.

Never ending parties are what Im into.
Search on google.com
or use coinbase.com , virwox.com
Virwox is good but the fees are just terrible. Localbitcoins can be a better option for bitcoin transactions and you can have P2P transactions as well which makes it more safe for users.

Localbitcoins is a great way to exchange cash for bitcoins, and I like it because of the fact that you can check for reputable members or services. As well, it's in your area, so it becomes easy to find someone to regularly exchange bitcoins with.

Coinbase would be a good one to use or if you can find a local ATM then you can just feed your money into it and get your bitcoin that way, not sure how recent this is but it might help http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-atm-map/ or google search your local area to see if there is one available.

Hello

I updated the constraints:
Quote
- Easy to use for mainstream people
- Without knowledge of BTC
- Payment by credit card / Paypal / international bank wire transfers / Western Union
- Identification with official ID is not an issue (added 12/31)
- Send it straight to a BTC wallet
- No time constraint, it can take seval days with money retention
- Medium amounts (300 to 1000 $)

Ok so I think that Coinbase won as 3 people suggested it Smiley

Coinbase.com 3
Circle.com 2
Virwox.com
Localbitcoins 2
Buybitcoins.io 1
Wesellcrypto.com does not work

I think wesellcrypto.com and circle are the best if you ID verify yourself.

I think average joe should buy at an exchange like kraken or coinbase. The coins bought will be automatically credit on their account.
No need to do some tech savy things like transfering your coins.

There is no way to satisfy all those constraints. The best you are going to find is Circle, Coinbase, or LocalBitcoins. The most convenient is Circle. The fastest is LocalBitcoins.
