Most likely all those Avalon/BFL ASICs are scams anyway. Why would you buy it in PayPal anyway?

hi guys,

just came here to warn you about another ebay scam (change "ebayscam" to "ebay" to view the listing): http://www.ebayscam.com/itm/AVALON-ASIC-Bitcoin-BTC-Miner-Preorder-batch-2-60-GHash-s-/271186499104?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f23f99620

Here's the proof that it's a fake: https://i.imgur.com/NkXLAc5.png . The image on the left is the image of the fake offer.

This one is actually legit, in case anyone is interested: http://www.ebay.com/itm/AVALON-ASIC-Bitcoin-BTC-Miner-Preorder-batch-2-60-GHash-s-/261196897317?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cd08c5c25
I know it's legit because I'm the seller.

It's probably not sold, experience tells me that people turn up to ruin an auction and bid with no intention of buying.

You see it all the time for online game accounts, they feel it's their justice to destroy the auction, because it's cheating.  Roll Eyes

I'm curious what gives these guys so much confidence to risk the listing considering the continual deadline slips by BFL.

insiders possibly?

Those are almost legit though, as they have a several week ship time, saying that once the seller gets the unit, he'll ship it to buyer. It's essentially selling your preorder for USD instead of BTC. I'm curious what gives these guys so much confidence to risk the listing considering the continual deadline slips by BFL.

Not REAL!!! A few days ago the same seller puts this item up for auction. Were almost the same photo, but now it has processed them in Photoshop, added his name. Photos taken from the Internet. Pay attention to the floor  Grin

Yes just report him to ebay for asking for payment outside of PayPal it's against their terms of use to refuse to accept it.

Stop posting live links to scams, ok?
The community thanks you.

What about you report those listings to ebay instead of posting them here?
I just warn others ... Last time I almost paid him 6,000 euros

And in the process of warning others you may be getting him some more victims.
Obfuscate the link. If anyone still wishes to fix the link and go there, then it's their problem if they get scammed.
