Not last year ...news about this case are coming for around last 6 year. But this Shawn's surrender is a very recent news and he is supposed to go to jail in June ...I guess. So, he is still chatting on DP.

Hogan is your typical dumb, lazy affiliate. His forum DP is a cesspool of people trying to figure out how to get something for nothing. Typical criminal, smart enough to figure out how to cheat and manipulate the system but too stupid to realize he'd eventually get caught and pay the price.

As a long time member of DP, I know, once upon a time he worked like a dog to build DP.

This looks a whole lot like a hitjob on a very large bill eBay didn't feel like paying. This is the kind of double dealing eBay is infamous for. To be honest I believe both parties. Too bad for him he didn't get his side on paper.

I suspect also they were both guilty here. Like you say, without evidence he hasn't got a chance of going up against a behemoth like eBay. It would've been interesting if he actually had some evidence of underhand dealings though. Shame he wasn't smart or forward-thinking enough to collect some.

As per his statement on DigitalPoint, the forum he owns, he's fighting with eBay for around 7 years and have spent more than a million USD on legal bills. He is surrendering to settle down, not to accept the crime he committed.
