Hey guys I'm new here but have lurked the pages a while. Did a search and just can't find help for my problem. I just bought a used ebang ebit9+. I can find the IP address but when I type it into my browser it won't connect. I have double checked they're both on the right network, I reset the ebit, tried wiring it directly to the router, bypassing the switch. Nothing seems to work. I have two l3+ that I have no problem with.

I also tried downloading the management tool from ebang site but the link is broken. They have two tools, one seems to be for every other miner and the other is specifically for 9+. But the 9+ link is dead 😥.

I just wanted to ask for some help before I request a return of I can't get it to work right.
Anyone have any insight?
What browser are you using? I had an older Ebit miner, and they are a pain.

I have had a similar problem with Microsoft Edge before. I tried it in Firefox and it worked just fine.

Can you try to access the miner through incognito mode and maybe there might be a plugin on the normal browser that blocking you to access the miner.

If it doesn't work can you try to access the IP through Telnet and update here if you can access it.

If it asks for a username and password try to put admin/admin if success then we can able to reset it through SSH just let us know if it works on telnet.

This model isn't very popular, throughout my years of mining bitcoin, I have only seen the name maybe two or three times, so the odds of you finding a solution here or elsewhere are pretty slim, you should either contact ebang or return the miner.

The problem you are describing seems like a bad firmware/control board, it's pretty hard to troubleshoot with the amount of info you provided, what do you mean by "it won't connect" does it show connection refused or the page was not found or what do you see exactly? also what happens when to ping the miner?
