yes, im posting this prematurely i know however time is limited on my side i would like to start getting feedback while i make several finishing touches

If in 4 years you haven't had time to take not a video but even an actual picture of that thing, you know how this sounds coming from someone asking for 10 million?

.
i totally agree in addition when one must weld, fit, electrically wire, program, experiment, run accounts, plan, design and even setup this crowdfund you wont be wasting a second when your waiting for a few parts

but unfortunately there is no such system available on the market, what is offered are large process machines that cant even handle PVC or PET properly
There are small machines from 10-50 kg to simple truck loading containers that can deal with anything, from coal to tires, common we had these for decades from gasification to depolymerization purpose.
Even HDPE is not different with anything from lower density polymers, the same range of temperature is needed.

please enlighten me; it would be great to order one and stop what im doing, and would love to see how it handles the chlorine in the PVC and the oxygen in the PET...….

I wonder why poeple paint stuff that does 700C but this one would burn at around 550C inside the reactor.
A machine which...you forgot to take a picture of.

with all your wisdom please write where i mentioned "forgot"Huh?

again if you bothered to read what i wrote, all i mentioned is that this column is part of the CO2 capture system no where did i mention it works the temperatures you mentioned

unfortunately if you use this as a reactor all the paint would burn off and it would have been painted for nothing, this column holds the customised sorbent used to capture co2, this was before it was integrated into the full machine

Ill be posting a video of the CO2 capture system next week

and shortly after a video of the Unit X

$10m may sound a lot but unfortunately for this kind of project, until you acquire the right premises, apply for all EPA permissions and hire all the right talent you've burn through half your budget

So this is your CO2 capture system, are you sure about it?
You could have sold it as a pyrolysis reactor column, since you're at that point, and judging by the size a rather small one something below 10kg,  but nothing else.

Just 10 million, not like you're asking for much...right?

Bottom, what's so revolutionary in your project compared to a normal pyrolysis module that is available to buy right now almost everywhere on this planet, and why do you need $10m??

The project will be converting up to 30ton/day of plastic waste into electricity

How is best to do this?

Start out by converting 1kg/day.

Prove your concept first, and investors will contact you.
This should how be done first because proving out your concept first and let the community publicly see on how the project works then the rest would follow.
Then thats the time on how op will accept the funding either on creating another shitcoin  Grin or accepting thru BTC deposits. Sometimes making out concepts is really very
easy but when the time comes on how to apply it would be the hardest part.

I already managed to convert over 1kg plastic into oil and refine it into deisel/petrol

now I'm building a much more refined continuous machine which I will video and demonstrate to the world

however I'm already working with engineers on feasibility studies to build a 30ton/day machine based on existing technology

a huge part of this project would be to implement Co2 capture tech which actually is available on the market

end goal is to turn waste into energy and Zero waste the faster I succeed the less nuclear stations and coal stations will be required

Oh.. Have the same concept on swachhcoin.. You can turn waste into swachh tokens..
Swachhcoin will be developing an ecosystem that can push people to be aware of their waste so they can understand what their role and responsibility.
Swachhcoin will make the existing waste management industries as efficient and capable for them to become technologically and otherwise able to tackle the imminent waste management crisis.
visit swachhcoin.com for more info and see how amazing swacchcoin is,

You understand then that the reason coal and gas is funded and idealized the way it is, is because next to nuclear and hydro, they are capable providing the large loads to the grid. They also provide the best frequency, MVAR, and line voltage support. I work at a gas facility myself. The renewables aren't a valid option for the entire grid. Not in the way that the grid is set up now. Now, if the United States were to have localized grids that were independent, then that would be a far different story.

As for your project, it sounds interesting and I wouldn't mind working alongside you, one way or another.

Eco-friendly projects should be massively supported. It is good to think about how we can mitigate the hazards of human activities, and possibly make it profitable. I have a project which I also generated energy from waste, It was highly applauded by professors and academicians. Now the project is mute due to lack of finance. I look forward to meeting like-minded persons and sponsors in order to expand my idea and make the project a reality. Though currently, I am promoting ''Organicco'', a project with an already existing project working to produce organic products from undesirable organic materials.

Have you heard about swachhcoin? Did anyone knows how amazing swacchcoin platform is? Okay let me explain,
Swachhcoin is a non profit organization that will make the existing waste management industries as efficient, possible, capable for them to become technologically and otherwise be able to tackle the imminent waste management crisis, swachhcoin already have a solution on our most common problem that the world faces at the moment, swachhcoin let's you earn swachh #tokens by using waste, this is why swachhcoin is amazing!

I and every normal people who cares about nature likes your idea but please tell me, even if you create ICO, why will someone fund rise an ICO? Or why will someone send bitcoins? This is something goverment has to care and I highly believe your only and best bet is to contact companies which will fund you or contact mayor’s office.
I appreciate if you have really used your funds for this kind project.

first, I agree with this
second, I also agree with the idea of the project. it is a great idea to convert plastic waste into electricity. indeed, electricity is becoming main priority in many people life especially in this sophisticated era. moreover, the usage of plastic in daily life, however, is like not avoidable.

First Exclusion Ever

I would suggest doing some research on using superworms to eat styrofoam. Apparently they subsist on it happily and consume it very fast. I don't know if the worms are then toxic or what, but this seems like an area worthy of research within a smaller budget.

unfortunately it don't sound like the worms would be profitable, as much as i'm doing it for the eco reasons, unless its profitable it wont make a dent in reducing waste as i cant expand it further

You never know how you might find a way for them to help do the work for you...

iv been brainstorming this and you know I can create a coin and invest 10% of the electricty profits every year to pump it and also reward the coin to people who seperate plastics and deliver it to a local collection facility, seperating waste can go a long way.

iv been discussing to unlock local state funds and they don't seem to give a Damm, that's when I realized if you want to do something you got to do it yourself, government funds coal burning power stations better than many environmental projects at least over here that's the case. coal stations are bigger pollutants than nuclear ironicaly enough

I'm sick of all our pollution around the world so i have decided to dedicate my life to treating waste and turning it into energy, I'v been working on various projects past year treating organic and inorganic waste. I concluded it be easiest to start off with plastic waste via pyrolysis I have good understanding of the technical aspects being an engineer however I will need to raise funds.

The project will be converting up to 30ton/day of plastic waste into electricity

How is best to do this?

Fund raise an ICO? (create another shitcoin)
Fund raise via BTC?

Any advice would be really appreciated I'v been using my crypto gains past year to fund my own research but it wont be enough to build a sizeable plant.

turning waste into energy is nothing great recycling is usually better, there are plenty of alternative ways to create energy, burning garbage usually creates a ton of toxins, no one knows what form they are.

you misunderstand it, i'm not directly burning garbage, i thermally break down plastics into diesel and gas, clean its constituents and then cleanly burn it in a generator, next step would be to utilise carbon capture and pump the flue gases underground meaning 0 pollution

otherwise you are throwing these plastics into the oceans and digging them into the ground polluting water and soil and at the same time digging out more fossil fuels from the ground to produce the same energy you are losing in those plastics.

there's only so much wind and solar can achieve, the world needs a combination of many technologies to become pollution free

also to add there is a limit on what types of plastics are recyclable and the amount of times you can recycle them.

out of plastics its possible to make oil and then plastic again,

energywise this is something awesome https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NO-fKDY7f9s

can't wait for fusion but as sexy as it may seem we are many decades away from it meanwhile plastics will still be floating about the oceans but you are right instead of burning the pyrolyses oil we can produce plastics from them too.

sooner or later the fusion researchers will create their own ico. it would be quite a popular coin as all over the world there is support for it comming this was my post nr. 4k

Whilst this is a great idea and an admirable challenge you’ve set for yourself, I think You’re best off going along the more traditional ways of raising money.
If you area a registered charity, companies can get tax breaks/exemptions for donating to your cause. Accepting donations in FIAT also gives you a greater pool of donators/investors (although investing will depend on whether you’re a for-profit organisation, NGO/Charity or social enterprise).

This will have to be a for profit venture otherwise i can't expand it and take it further, fortunately electricity ain't cheap around here so there is good margins. Just worried traditional investors would eat away at most the profits in return for funds hence i was considering crypto funding. But you may be right

I would suggest doing some research on using superworms to eat styrofoam. Apparently they subsist on it happily and consume it very fast. I don't know if the worms are then toxic or what, but this seems like an area worthy of research within a smaller budget.

Updated 07/01/2022

After 5 years in the making I would like to introduce our project; Blend Energy

This project has created a continuous waste to energy system, focusing on mixed plastic waste.
To make this viable, this system has a CO2 capture system.
All automation was designed from the ground up using open source technology to significantly reduce costs and reliance on expensive PLCs

Blend Energy has been posted here as it has been fully funded by my bitcoin gains

A crowdfunding app on Btcpay server has been setup to raise funds to continue this project, naturally you can donate via lightening payment.

https://btcpay.blend-energy.com/

The Uniqueness of Blend Energy

After years of tackling human trash; I came to a conclusion that one of the biggest hurdles to solving this problem is the centralised nature of waste infrastructure. By the time your garbage is collected, transported and sorted - all value has been lost making recycling highly cost prohibitive.

Instead of transporting your trash, one will be able to throw it into our Unit X, specifically plastic waste, and in return one may be rewarded Satoshis for the electricity generated and the CO2 captured.

Each Unit X can service up to 200 households

Achievements to Date

Working prototype of Unit X
Developed CO2 Capture System
Inhouse open source automation

Goals and Plans

Plans to further refine our prototype machine and seek EPA approval to build a final version that can be placed in public for all to use
The first jurisdictions we aim to operate in will be the EU, UK & Israel
Our vision is to make waste utilisation as ubiquitous as driving a car

Update 22nd January 2022
