US economy has improved a lot since Trump took over, and he has smartly indulged in trade wars and cut down subsidies on Asian countries which were effecting US economy. If you look at the employment chart it’s risen very well which further indicates their economy is improving. Trumps long term vision is to make goods in America, and many companies are now supporting his vision which in turn will further boost the economy hence his claim that USA is number one is completely correct.

Flying Hellfish is a Commie
Number one in being an economic powerhouse that the world relies on order to continue growing! If the US weren't present, the rest of the world would lose a massive consumer of goods and tech, plus an enormous provider of services (creation of tech - google, facebook, Microsoft, Twitter, etc. Accounting, Banking, investments, etc.) that makes the world function.

I hate these stupid little jokes about debt and such.

YES THE US HAS DEBT, AND THE REST OF THE WORLD DOES TOO. IF THE US CAN KEEP IT ALONGSIDE GDP GROWTH THEN IT IS MOST LIKELY OKAY. Public debt to GDP is what is going to be worried about anyway.

I'd rather see an AVERAGED balanced budget though. Not every year can be balanced, but on average if the budget is balanced some years, surplus others, and deficit other years, then it is fine as it is a net zero.

The US economy is fuelled by debt.
We realized that in 2008 with the collapse of Lehman Brothers. Having said that, as much as the debt is, it is better for the American Economy. If the debt is growing steadily then this is positive for them. However, I won't say the same for other countries around the world, as they will face strong consequences of it.

thats actually how all states work, alternative would be metallic despotism (kingdomes etc.)

they will then tax their region wage war on neighbours and send thoughs to their enemies

the good guys are in the end all just being punished. and abused.
