Do that too, yeah, sure. But the marketing motivation for an Ecocoin was supposedly its being Eco is cool and that will make it cool and popular. So the XRPs are fine, we get to give them all to charity, a massive publicity / marketing ploy.

But yeah of course, all kinds of other clones too once the code is out. Inevtiable, surely?

We should clone Ripple.

What if the system has no XRPs, I'm tired of more dudous coins. The system can have something like a transaction time/amount limit based in reputation to avoid bots or something like that.

Once the Ripple source code is released, how about we clone Ripple to make a "green currency", we can call it Ecopay, or Ecopal, or something. (Both dot coms are already taken, hence the "or something"... Could be trademarked or somesuch already.)

We'll have a hundred billion Ecos to give out to world-class world-scale ecological activist charities, lets figure out our list of the ready to go so we don't waste time choosing those once we get the code, as once we get the code we should fire it up with no further delay.

World Wildlife Fund?

Rainforest something?

I dunno, don't have list on tip of tongue. How right do have to get the list to make people not complain about the tiny fraction we keep for ourselves hahahahaha j/k Wink Cheesy
