As predicted in BITCOIN MANIFESTO

www.BTCmanifesto.org

Bascially that group puts forth the idea of FREE BTC TRADE ZONES

Countries that are friendly to btc will become the eCommerce centers of the world

So good and bad news really

Good news that nations are now drawing a line in the digital sands of time

We don't want btc, ok that nation, you are blacklisted by btc users, DON'T TRADE WITH THAT NATION

Core dev leaves me neg feedback #abuse #political
Two interesting things here.

1.  I think an outright ban is going to have the forbidden fruit effect.
people will start becoming aware of Bitcoin and wonder why "they"
don't want you to have it.

2.  Creating their own cryptocurrency will make it that much easier
to move in and out of Bitcoin.

So Ecuador decided to ban Bitcoin: http://www.coindesk.com/ecuador-bans-bitcoin-legislative-vote/

Banning bitcoin in a country only serves to stop legal businesses taking advantage of what it has to offer. Any and all illegal activity isn't affected due to how bitcoin is decentralised and pseudo anonymous.
Do you want a black bitcoin market? Because that's how you get a black bitcoin market.

Good news is thousands of Ecuadorians just learned about bitcoin.

Very interesting but sad news, really.
In fact, Ecuador and other small countries could really benefit from Bitcoin and become more financial independent from other, financial stronger countries like USA.
But, as said earlier, any advertising or news, either good or bad, still can help because many more people will hear about this and become interesting, start researching etc.
Also, I don't think that this government can really control what their citizens work or do on Internet.

Who knows maybe this turn around. Now because of this they will surely get more info from all around the world that tells them why this is a bad move, so maybe they will stop banning it. It would also show other countries that something like banning it won't work, still we have to wait and see.

Currently held as collateral by monbux
Silly move on their behalf this is why they will never be in a 'good' financial status especially poor countries should be adopting Bitcoin as early as possible.

The first government trying to integrate some kind of cryptocurrency in their financial system, and the first one less dictatorial than North Korea that made a true bitcoin baning.
Weird and contraditory.

These pieces of shit voting against Bitcoin will have to eat their own words when ebay accepts Bitcoin as a legitimate method of payment. It's going to be fun revisiting all of these news a decade from now.
