Yes it is a good idea to invest in icos as they are easy ways to get token and can be profitable when the ico is successfully launched. Though, extensive research work is needed on the ico and the team behind it before deciding on the one to join as there are some scam icos.
There is nothing bad in it but you have to consider certain things before investing in ICOs. First, make sure the company has real assets, check the integrity of the team that manage the company and lastly seek for advice from cryptocurrency expert in you area.
I think investing in ico is a good ideas as long as you take time to make the right choice. It is still good idea to invest. Maybe you can also try to trade and become a bounty hunter

Yes, a question that many ask. Of course, it is worth investing, because the whole crypt is just to keep on investing and this is beneficial to those who are already there.
considering the high yield , it's good buy you must do your calculation well and use amount you won't kill yourself over if things go south 
But the question is when the ICO is end, what will happen? In my experience, mostly the amount of token will be 1/4 to the original price of the specific coins or token. The only thing to do is wait and wait and wait, and find some new updates about the project. If you want to go in investing on ICO, you need a lot of patience and faith on you choosen project.
With the sheer amount of money going into ICOs nowadays and everyone and their mothers wanting a piece of that ICO pie, there are legit fears going around of ICO being a bubble much like the dot com bubble and the real estate bubble.
It is still good idea to invest. It just depends, what the project is and how public the team are. Two days ago I was at Blockchain summit, and found very interesting ICOs: Bixtrim and Flipnpick. Try to google them

For me, just 20 percent will gonna be profitable if you invest in ICO of newly born project. Sad to say, the image of crypto is not so good at this time, specially about the past couple of months with full of scammer and shitcoins. This is the bad effect of doing dirty work in crypto community. But still, I have a clear faith that the cypto community will survive and get back the line on marketing and business matter.
Investing in ico projects are just easy way to make free token by promoting the project.If you see a good project, you can decide to invest in it if you are satisfied with the idea, the management team, their previous work and the mode of operation of the project. You can even invest if you like the way the rewards will be shared and feel you are good with the idea. Though some icos do not worth investing in as most do not have good development and may likely not survive but their are still some good one. To me, I think investing in ico is a good ideas as long as you take time to make the right choice.
