But a signature contest will really bring more audience to your ICO.

Sounds like you are looking to get an essential part of running a campaign done for free?
Or are you paying this "master of signature codes"?
If you really want to cheap out on signatures, then make a signature competition. Pretty sure you'll get some nice looking submissions for a cheaper price than hiring a known signature code designer.
