Mods can't edit posts.
I think it's admins and global mods isn't it who can edit posts?

Only admins can, even though they have never done such. But why can't you edit posts?

They have. There was a 1000BTC giveaway about a year ago I think and they edited the post because the account got hacked. (It was one of TF's old addresses that the money had gone through.

It started off as a free raffle and then got changed about 80 or so pages of posts down the line to say that they wanted 0.001BTC per entry.

Enough time has passed; you can edit your posts now. Note however that unlike how it was years ago, edits are now logged and available to admins.
I didn't know that edits are logged Lips sealed

Also, since you were previously prevented from deleting replies to selfmod topics, and I see value in continuing to prevent this, I removed selfmod status on all of your past topics (topics 166416, 166498, 180287, 206948, 206949, 248803, 270101).
Thank you!

Mods can't edit posts. Only admins can, even though they have never done such. But why can't you edit posts? Do you see the edit button? Or this button near at the bottom right of your posts?

I believe back in the day of the scammer tag such losers were unable to edit their posts, to prevent them from hiding evidence.

I'm not able to edit posts.

Could a moderator kindly edit the email address in OP of this post https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/coinlendersinputsio-depositors-reimbursement-available-please-read-4589356

from cl [at] tfbtct.e4ward.com

to admin+g [at] glados.cc

due to impersonation attempts; as detailed here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.41741171

I originally went for a forwarding email so that it's easier to categorise, however given social engineering and impersonation attempts I will be using my glados.cc domain from now on.

Thank you!
