Can you offer a writing service as well?
I might need a writing service (sales thread) and you seem good at English.
Send me a PM, I think we can work something out.

Perhaps a statement of your qualifications to offer this service? You are a native English speaker, hold an MFA in English Lit,. you teach grammar at the university level, your real-world job is as a Senior Editor for Funk and Wagnalls? That sort of thing.
I'd prefer to keep this information confidential. Sorry if this inconveniences you in any way.

Thanks, deadlyasp. If this business takes off, I'll try to send a Bitcoin your way Smiley .
Thank you Grin .
The period ends the sentence. The emoticon is not punctuation, nor a word. It is not part of the sentence.  Grin
It's a personal preference. An emoticon is meant to convey an emotion or facial expression, and by placing it before the period I'm implying that the emotion is retained throughout the sentence rather than merely introduced after it.
Shocked!

Good luck BurntSnow, I hope at least somebody can succeed with this idea here where I failed  Smiley

Hope you don't get the reception I did  Embarrassed
Take it neither personally nor seriously, especially when smiley emoticons are used.

Who said I took it personally? I just found it rather immature is all.

I honestly meant it when I say all the luck in the world to BurntSnow, Freelance Writing can be a bitch of an industry  Wink
I know, right? It's literally impossible to make a living by writing...  Wink
[edit] BTW, I see what you did there.

I'm providing editing/proofreading services for .05 BTC per 500 words. I can measure the word-count myself and will round down to the nearest 250 in most cases.
Some errors I will be looking for include spelling errors, strangely-worded sentences, and misuse (or absence of) capitalization.
If you feel my services provided were not satisfactory, you can choose to pay me any amount that you deem reasonable.

Additionally, I can transcribe chatspeak (ie. lol dnt b dum im betr dan u) if it's readable. For now, this service will be provided for .05 BTC per 200 words. I'm willing to haggle on this price if you send me a PM. Thank you Grin .
