Github, as of now, isn't functional properly either. Hopefully I'll provide a solution for this soon.
About AWS Educate; Various EDU domains are included if you do an order, so you might have got an incompatible college.
Tested another EDU email (different .edu domain) & now (succesfully) under review after signing up.
I'll report back here if I got any news. If so, I'll provide another .EDU as a replacement (that is AWS-compatible) so you can test as well.
