The Lunar Tiger wallets are absolutely gorgeous imo…. Someone had 10 for sale on ebay @ $35 and sold very well.
I got a few of these and can confirm, they look fantastic if you want a red-gold tiger/Chinese style ballet wallet and should sell well to the right collector.

Regarding your unloaded wallets (Ballet etc) I'd also say that ebay (I know you didn't want to hear that) or other popular classified ad pages (if that's a thing in the UK) is probably the best option. Good luck.

I've also got a few 2022 Ballet Lunar New Year cards and was wondering the same thing:

Are they all the same pattern on the cards?  I may be interested depending on what your asking price is.

For other reasons I have been selling off a bunch of stuff.
You may want to gather everything you have and make 3 plies

1) Sell
2) Sell if the stuff in #1 does not generate enough
3) Not going to sell no matter what.

Take everything in #1 and make a list and post it. You never know who may be interested in what.

I am still slowly going through everything crypto & hot sauce related. But with a lot of effort 75% of the car stuff is gone.

I've reached a certain point in my life where my need for cash to live on far outweighs my need for new bicycle parts, underwear, haircuts, toilet paper, and collectible HW wallets.

Cheesy

At times when I have a spare moment I just read through your posts for the sake of entertainment. I should copy this one and keep it for my next eBay auction (if there ever will be one). A good sale should always start with a really funny punch line and this is one! Cheesy The trick is to make people laugh and they instantly enjoy their own interest in the item twice as much.

I really have to laugh because the funny part about this intro is that one could fantasize about items for sale that would make interested buyers even more laugh when they read this intro.

Why not add a gofundme link as well? Some people might send some dust Tongue

Like a moron, I once again put the Collectibles section on ignore (simply because of the way I browse the forum, not because I'm not interested in it) and missed the last two replies to my thread here.  Doh!

That's because I bought them. Then I sent the link to a buddy I know who collects them as well. That's why they sold back to back like that. Lol I appreciate the fast shipping and it is always nice talking shop. The ballets arrived in great shape. Thank you.
That does explain why they sold so quickly--and the referral was much appreciated, by the way--but unless I'm missing something obvious, it doesn't explain how the buyer was so close to my pen pal.  You're not the pen pal, nor was the second buyer who lives only a few miles away.  I'm obviously not going to name names, but I wonder if they know each other.

Nice price you got on Ebay for $110....Perhaps the market there is not so aware of the issue with Coldkey at all.

Again I think these cards will go up in price in time....we are still bruising from the beating we got from Coldkey in this forum section
The Coldkey wasn't sold on eBay but to a member here who was very generous with the offer he made.  I know the card represents a line around the block of black eyes, but the history behind them will be something that'll be looked back on and pondered at some point in the future.  I wish I wasn't forced to sell mine, but alas I need a roof over my head.

if you do not get straight up offers then a good option is to mail items you want to sell to either Mopar Mining or Miner Jones. They will run an auction for you and do a great job of it. You will see they are coordinating several right now.
I appreciate that bit of advice--on the rare occasion I make a post or thread in this section, I feel like a total noob since I have it on ignore.  Why?  Because reading threads about crypto collectibles and looking at pics of all of the awesome stuff everyone's either collecting or selling makes me want to buy, buy, buy.  And right now I not only don't have enough extra money for HW wallets and such, I actually have to sell some of what I have out of necessity.

Anyway, because I don't follow the section I didn't know those two members provided that service.  However, I imagine the auctions you said they're coordinating are for expensive items and what I've got is cheap by comparison.

Here's a very strange thing that's happened since I started this thread:

There are a grand total of two members of this forum that I've exchanged written letters with; one is a real pen pal, and the other is a regular in the Collectibles section that I've exchanged letters with a few times, but infrequently.  After I created this thread, I sold two of the Ballet cards to a person who lives three miles away from one of the members I mentioned, and another two cards to a person who lives on an island, away from the continental United States, and about 60 miles from the other member.  I thought that was a really, really weird coincidence.

That's because I bought them. Then I sent the link to a buddy I know who collects them as well. That's why they sold back to back like that. Lol I appreciate the fast shipping and it is always nice talking shop. The ballets arrived in great shape. Thank you.

the core people here are mostly friendly and welcoming. I havent met anyone that is a bigger asshole than myself at least lol
Oh, I know this section has amazing people in it--and there's a lot of passion for bitcoin/crypto collectibles and for cryptocurrency in general that comes through loud and clear.  One of my first interactions a long time ago was with Lesbian Cow, and they were a lot nicer to me than I expected (though I forget why we had the occasion to chat via PM in the first place).  I don't avoid this section because I'm averse to the personalities but because if I spent much time here I'd be wanting to buy constantly.  I've got collectors' blood flowing through my veins.

Minerjones was also extremely generous to me when I asked him about capsules for the copper Zepher memorial rounds.  I think I asked him a question about the diameter not being standard and if a nickel-sized capsule would be appropriate, and he just sent me a bunch of them and wouldn't accept payment or a tip.  That's class, and I've been browsing Bitcoin Penny periodically ever since.

And thanks for the offer to assist with selling the Coldkey, I appreciate it.

the tiger wallets might get you 10-15 ea possibly
Weird, I sold 4 of them already and grossed around $110 (ebay took their pound and a half of flesh, though).  I really didn't think they'd be that popular, though they are nice Ballets and are out of production.

the coldkey ? meh, a lot of people are still feeling that burn - I lost nearly .75 BTC from that scammer.
Yeah, as I said to another member I didn't realize the fact that it might bring bile up into the mouths of a number of people in this section when I started this thread, and for that I apologize.  Since I'm not a regular here, I totally forgot how badly the funded Coldkey buyers got fucked over by yogg.  I'm getting a few PMs expressing interest in it, but since I can't put a value on it and apparently no one can either without actually running an auction for it, I'm not sure what to sell it for.  It's a really nicely presented card, and I'd rather hang onto it than sell it for just a few bucks (even though I'm hard up for money).

its a small world - I think I have now met at least 20 people in person who are now on these forums.
I haven't actually met either of my pen pals in person, or anyone else from the forum for that matter.  True, I'm a recluse almost to the extent of being a shut-in, but I've always wanted to meet some of the faces that go with the usernames.  Eh.  Maybe it'll happen one day.

if someone is paying that much for them I am surprised but awesome news for you.

If you want to sell them direct, then setting a price usually does better than asking for offers. However, I have no advice for a proper price on the cold card. Any previously established prices will not serve as help for reasons people have mentioned.

Yes I think so! The Coldkey saga will definitely have a place in the collectibles history.
For example anything related to MtGox is considered very collectible so I think in time the
Coldkey items obviously the rarer ones being more so will be collectible.

I have to agree...MT GOX items are very collectable and I am a collector of them as well. Lets bot forget Alitin and also Microsoul as well.

The pain for Coldkey is too fresh at the moment but given time they will increase in value for sure.

I still have all my cards and will keep them as part of my collection as painful of a memory that they are regardless.. Roll Eyes

Check your card's balance, if it hasnt been swiped by Yogg, its probably best to
sweep it yourself.
Yeah, I thought this was the Yogg thing but couldn't quite remember.  I'm not the original owner; I got the Coldcard in a trade with a Collectibles section regular (whom I'm choosing not to name out of his respect for privacy, but I'm cool if he chimes in).  There wouldn't likely be a balance and that doesn't concern me.

But to my point about HW wallets being a part of crypto history, it would seem like even the scam ones would be collectible.  They tell a story about a particular time and place, even if that story is one of black-hearted betrayal.  Or am I crazy?

Ah TSC - Cold key has been seriously tarnished by the actions of Yogg back in January
of this year.

No bloviated preface like I'd normally write here.

I've reached a certain point in my life where my need for cash to live on far outweighs my need for new bicycle parts, underwear, haircuts, toilet paper, and collectible HW wallets.  Regarding that last one, I am trying to sell off some of my puny collection on eBay but they have a knack for locating sellers' orifices, finding spots for new ones, and then violating all of them until you're left with dust--which the government then taxes, but that's another story.

So I have this Coldcard Genesis Edition:

And the member I got it from will recognize it instantly, and to him I apologize.  Is there any interest in one of these?  I know I could hold an auction, but I'm reluctant to because I've never done one.

I've also got a few 2022 Ballet Lunar New Year cards and was wondering the same thing:

Any input (not of the eBay variety if you know what I mean) would be greatly appreciated.  You guys know this stuff like walking encyclopedias, and I feel like a palsied dollar store novel.
