According to the enthusiast, the mid-range model in the face of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti may soon get faster GDDR6X memory

how about the bus width?

it made the difference between 3080 and 3070ti.

if it is the same as 3070ti bus width then it is worth it.

plus you have to get the 3 fan cooler/length models, because you might not be able to max out those gddr6x's hehe
Even with the three fan models some are bad build and 3070Ti are known to always have high memory temperature issue after few months of intense mining, be ready to battle with cooling pads.
The manufacturer of video cards with DDR6X memory turned out to be smarter than all the miners. All these video cards are not designed for mining, and even good models, which were mined for the first 6-10 months without overheating, then problems began.
Thermal pads need to be replaced which will void the warranty. For video cards with DDR6X memory, good closed cases are needed.

yeah maybe they did it on purpose. thermal pad or thermal paste, it won't last for 3 years, even for gamers. their terms are evil hehe.

on the other hand if the cards can mine for a few months (before you change thermal pads) there is a 99% chance that those cards are good to go for years (even past their 3 years warranty).

warranties BTW is added to the total cost of the card, like insurance cost.

The perfect sweet spot for a 3060 ti is 60MH, good for efficiency and hashrate, anything over 60 will consume more power, with 115 watts you are good with any brand of 3060 ti you got, I am so in love with the card.

With mining you are always better off with less hashrate but more stability. Even if you got free or cheap power or even during a time when ETH is hitting ATH and profits are very large.

If you over clock too much you will most likely get errors, or worst you might get a crash and then you need to reboot or worst you might get a complete freeze which requires taking the power out and doing a cold reboot. Both of these will cost you more money and it’s not worth it. Keep the clocks stable and don’t overclock to the point where you get crashes.

I would not overclock the video card because of a few megahash. The lower the memory frequency, the longer the video card will work stably. The lower the power consumption, the lower the temperature on the chip and memory of the video card. If you are going to mine cryptocurrency on these video cards for 3-5 years, do not use high overclocking.

alright so what hashrates should i target safely ? 60 ?

you should do 115 watts

and see if you can do 58 ,59 60 mh

do a core underclock

and up the ram a bit.

75c is a no go

70 c is so so

65 c starts to be good

60 c is good

55 c is very good.

try to do 80% fans or less.

Don't confuse yourself, a RTX 3060ti can only do 60MH and a bit OC will get it to 62MH so you are getting what you should be getting, your 3060Ti is working fine do not worry yourself.

well then i guess i wont, but any idea what is a safe temp for the GPU for the 3060 Ti s and 3070s ?...
Mine have been hashing away for a year now at 60°C max depending on the weather, on a very sunny day the max for me is 60°C and I have seen some with 62°C but not mine, Nvidia cards can withstand up to 70°C but at 65°C be planning to change your thermal pads.

60-61 megahash
Keep an eye on the temperature of the video cards, this is the most important thing. If you use a good closed case with strong ventilation, then you can overclock depending on your situation. If you use regular cheap open cases or PCs, then target this hashrate.

If you have free electricity it doesn't matter but if you live in Europe and pay around USD 0.36 kWh it will make a difference as your energy is way higher in the end.

I have a RTX 3060 Ti that achieves 61+MH only if I increase power consumption up to 125watt in hive OS, at 115watt it gives only 60MH, hear me out OP that 1MH for the extra power isn't making sense so a 3060 TI at 60MH rocks 👍👍.

I was playing with the overclocks today and i was wondering what's better...

overclocking say at 1300 MHz for ETH, 1400, 1600+ but getting LOWER Efficiency
or
submitting to lower hash rate (say 60 MH/sec) but higher Efficiency ?

attached example...

thanks,
