I'm not saying I agree 100% with the deletions, but come on, this is a pro BitCoin community. Did you expect a different outcome?

There were too many junk threads speculating about the value (in the wrong section, too). I also removed one about higher values.

If your thread talks about the BTC value and is less than a few paragraphs long, I may delete it. I find these to be worthless.

Thanks for the explanation however we did have a very interesting discussion going and it would have been better if it had been moved to a more appropriate forum rather
thanbe deleted.

I also noticed some other thread where a moderator admitted to censoring posts where he felt insulted. The irony in this freedom-loving community's flagship forum is surprising. Guess what boys and girls? The brave new world of crypto-currency is just like the old world when the shine wears off.

oh hey look, relegated to a forum no one visits
Why shouldn't it be moved to the appropriate forum? This thread isn't discussing bitcoin.

Probably an overzealous attempt to quell "trolls", not market manipulation.

Although, I will admit that bear-trolls are censored more often than bull-trolls. Probably because most long term members that believe in bitcoin have said many things that seem bull-trollish. It seems more plausible that bulls are posting on good faith, and not just trying to cause a commotion. I'm not sure if I agree with that logic, but there it is.

My posting privileges were revoked (and posts deleted) simply because I spoke eloquently and vehemently against bitcoin, so really you can't expect too much around here.

Why? We had a good discussion going there?

What say you all - is this an atempt at market manipulation at the expense of open speech?
