2FA will still work with Electrum on the BTC network (TrustedCoin are still signing BTC transactions just fine)... But it is broken in ElectronCash.

When you go to restore your 2FA seed into ElectronCash... you need to disable 2FA when prompted:

I successfull clear 2fa but not can send my bcc.
Same error. Any solution?
NOTE: you still need to disable 2FA when restoring the wallet...

We have to restore the wallet in Electrum or Electron to disable 2FA ?

Have you upgraded to the latest v2.9.2 of ElectronCash that is now available for download? It should include the MultiSig Patch... NOTE: you still need to disable 2FA when restoring the wallet... as per the comment by TrustedCoin Admin (or at least, someone claiming to be the TrustedCoin Admin), they will NOT be supporting BCC at the present time.

I have a wallet in electrum with 2fa but I haven't yet imported it in Electron Cash (I sent BTC to a new standard wallet).
I see there is a bug with 2fa. Is it difficult to fix it ? Where can we disable 2fa during the import ?

Do you advise me to use this wallet ? Is there a better solution ?

Many thanks.

The easiest way is to restore the seed into a new wallet. Restore and disable 2FA when prompted to "keep or disable" during the restore process.

So I restore the seed into a new wallet on electrum and after that I import my seed in electron cash.
Is that it?

No... you can't just import the private keys for a MultiSig wallet, because each address has at least 2 keys required to be able to sign the transaction(s). If you import a private key, you'll end up with a "normal" '1' bitcoin address that only has 1 key... and won't actually contain any coins.

You'd probably be able to do it by crafting a MultiSig transaction manually... but honestly, you're probably better off trying to get Electron Cash with the new MultiSig patch running from sources...

Having said that, even with MultiSig patch, be aware that 2FA will still not work, because TrustedCoin will still be signing the transaction as BTC which will cause it to fail. If you have 2FA, you need to restore from seed and disable 2FA when prompted to "keep or disable"... This will restore 2 of the 3 private keys into your ElectronCash wallet so you will be able to sign the BCC transactions correctly.

You don't... at least not with Electron Cash for the moment: https://github.com/fyookball/electrum/issues/6

As I suspected, MultiSig (and therefore 2FA) is broken in Electron Cash. I suspect 2FA won't be fixed in a hurry as I don't think TrustedCoin are going to implement BCC support any time soon... However, the Electron Cash devs might fix MultiSig which means you could restore using 2FA seed and disable 2FA which will make your wallet a 'normal' MultiSig...

So, the short answer is: Wait for Electron Cash Dev to fix MultiSig

thank you.

importing private keys of every single address into bitcoin abc would fix the issue?
