That error is only on startup as that's when python35.dll gets called.
Op, what point does the wallet stall? Is it when you hit "new/restore", when you boot it or when you put in something (like a wallet name or seed creation).
Still downgrading should fix this issue as I assume it's probably either the DLL error or an exception error.
in the meantime I found out how to reload the blockchain in multibit and the fake transaction disappeared from the interface + btc balance is correct.
i'm letting go the idea to make another software wallet and wait for the hardware device.

Also, if you try getting electrum to work, you'll be able to use that with your hardware wallet (unless you opt for a chrome plugin most hardware wallets use).
