Thanks all,

Make sense.
In fact, I just reviewed my transactions and they all succeeded on both addresses  (pfew !Smiley

Good to know that I can still use my old address, because I think there is no risk on reusing, it's a receiving address, so I guess there is no harm even if someone reuse it (who will?), the transaction will always end up to my wallet.

Did I miss anything?

Many thanks!

1. Your wallet will give you a new address after every transaction to avoid addresses reuse.
2. You can keep using all previously used addresses as they are yours forever.
3. You can see all your addresses in the tab Addresses (View -> Show Addresses).

Electrum is an HD wallet. It does change every time. There also is a dedicated Electrum board: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=98.0

Hi

Under Electrum > 'Receiving Address' (R) I expected to find my wallet address, is this correct?
If so that's strange because I transferred successfully to another address (that I got when I installed Electrum), and that address (W) is not (R).

So I'm bit confused , where do I get my wallet address (assuming it doesn't change every time) ?

I tried to transfer to R, and I got nothing so far...

Thanks !
