OK thank you

How is it that it costs nothing? The transaction fees are currently enormously high.

will the rest be sent to an electrum address and from this again to a new one of mine?

This is not exactly a feature, that's how Bitcoin works - if you have N coins on an address and want to send some smaller than N amount, the difference which is called change will be sent to one of your addresses in the same transaction. This change address can be the same that you were sending from or some of your other addresses, there is no difference in transaction size and fees. It is recommended to not use the same address as change address, because it's a security risk and it gives no benefits.

Not reusing addresses is better from a security point of view as well. You should enable it. It doesn't cost you anything but has many benefits.

It's a privacy feature. All bitcoin transactions are public so reusing addresses is not recommended. By sending excess amounts to different change addresses you avoid address reuse.

Here you can see how I have sent the 6.4 to my new address at 00.30. But the address with 6.4 on it I do not have at Electrum. Do not look right now. Can anyone explain to me?
It's called a "change address". To make it simple, whenever you make a transaction, the remaining funds will be sent to a change address, instead of returning to the originated address.

You can disable this feature by doing the following steps:
Tools > Preferences > Transactions > Remove the tick on "Use change addresses".

Thank you so much!

But I do not understand it. so is the blockchain more burdened?

What is this function good for?

Hello!

I sent with my address: 3CZ8ALngWWG2B8hHrDShM82JP3QUAeENpA yesterday 0.1 btc to this: 3EEFht3nnTincXxGFdShFRKuWnhE7Qua9i. Now it has sent 6.14 btc from my address but I only sent 0.1 btc. Address: 3Mt1c5E6C4uCXqgcZcyTEvfmLSRtCpbe8G

In Electrum it also shows that I have sent the 6.4 BTC.

I noticed that at 24.00 and sent all BTC to a new address with Electrum. All my BTC are back at the new address but how can that be with 6.4 BTC?
