... I also struggle with finding the directory of my wallets...
You might find this FAQ from the Electrum website useful: http://docs.electrum.org/en/latest/faq.html#where-is-my-wallet-file-located

As for you problem of LTC sent to BTC Electrum wallet... if your BTC wallet is a 2FA wallet, you can follow the video tutorial here on how to recover: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=umsIy1ks8vg&feature=youtu.be&t=2m14s (actual tutorial starts at 2m 14s, beginning is the guy explaining WHY he needed to recover Wink)

Hello,

I have the same issue  (LTC sent to BTC eletrum wallet)  and I also struggle with finding the directory of my wallets  (sorry..I'm very new to cryptocurrencies).  All I can find when I go into the Electrum directory are some folders named "locale" (with local languages I assume) and "wordlist"  and some files names "currencies" "servers" and "servers testnet"
I opened those files but nothing in them looks like the code you posted?   I don't understand because I'm sure I've created at leat 2 wallets?  Anybody else facing the same problem?

Thankssss in advance
You are looking at the wrong place. Usually, the wallet file is created (by default) at %appdata%/Electrum/wallets and not where Electrum is installed.

Same issue here... LTC to bitcoin Electrum

I followed nerioseole's instructions to the t and am unable to successfully get past step 5...

After entering the seed words for my old 2fa wallet as described in step 4, there is no "DISABLE 2fa" option. Instead, it only allows for:
"Extend this seed with custom words" OR
"BIP39 seed"

If I proceed with the BIP39 seed and create the new wallet (no password etc.) and open up that new wallet file with TextEdit, there is only a single xprv and xpub key, not x1-x3... which obviously will not work for the Electrum-LTC multi-signature wallet. Note: I am using Electrum 3.0.3

Thanks for ahead for any help here!
Are you using a 2FA wallet? (And is your address starting with a 3 or a 1?)

If you are, try again but this time choose "Wallet with two-factor authentication" instead of "Standard Wallet" when restoring your wallet seed.
If you are not, then this method won't work for you. In this case, go to Electrum-LTC and choose: Standard Wallet -> Use public or private keys -> Paste your xprv.

I do not know how to make step 9 And 10. Where I can find X1 to X3?
Find where is your wallet file located. Usually, you can find it at %appdata%/Electrum/wallets

Then just right click your wallet file and open it with Notepad or any other text editor. At the bottom of the file, you will find this:

There is no electrum wallet for ltc and i think only bitcoin that you can send  in electrum wallet..
Did you send your LTC to a bitcoin address? you should convert first from coinbase electrum to bitcoin before you send it in electrum wallet..
But if you already sent your LTC to  electrum wallet  i don't know if there is  a way to recover your LTC or split it from your bitcoin address from electrum..

But once I used BTC wallet address and I send Litecoin to this address, now I can not see it in electrum wallet. How can I get LTC from address to Coinbase or electrum LTC???
