Now, that you've transferred your Bitcoins to your electron cash wallet, could you let us know the way in which you did that? Did you import your private address into electron casn? (If you did then I don't think you'll be having a seed for it).

Now assuming you still have access to this private key with the Bitcoins in it, you should still be able to create a new electron cash wallet and reimport your private key once again and this time make note of the password that you have set. Let me know if this worked out.

Hi all,

I just created a new Electron Cash wallet (Electron Cash 3.1.2) by importing the private key of a Bitcoin (BTC) paper wallet created in January 2017. I previously transferred the Bitcoin (BTC) to another wallet. This worked very well. The Bitcoin Cash (BCC) balance is shown in my Electrum Cash wallet.

What does not work now, however, is to send the Bitcoin Cash (BCC) to another BCC wallet or BCC address, e. g. at Kraken. I specify the transfer in Electrum Cash and then enter my Electrum Cash password (the same I use to open the Electrum Cash wallet). The password, however, is not accepted. I get a hint that my password is incorrect. BUT: This can't be true! It is the same password I use when I open the Electrum Cash wallet. And I closed and reopened the Electrum Cash wallet without problems.

I also cannot take a look at my seed at the Electrum Cash wallet. The respective menu item is inactive, i.e., not clickable. During the creation of the wallet in which I imported the paper wallet private key I also got no seed displayed.

What is wrong? How can I get my BCC off the Electrum Cash wallet?

It would be very great to get any advice!

Kind regards
cubiak
