Does that mean that the current Electrum source code is able to function with the Trezor?  Like I said, I haven't updated my firmware, or I would try it.

Yes, it should work fine with Electrum if you compile/run it from the latest source. If it doesn't work for some reason, you can downgrade the firmware if you need to use Electrum urgently.

This is an interesting turn of events.  I haven't had a chance to update the firmware on my Trezors, so I haven't had this issue.  Apparently pull request #6198 is closed and has been merged.  Does that mean that the current Electrum source code is able to function with the Trezor?  Like I said, I haven't updated my firmware, or I would try it.

If you did indeed update your firmware to 1.9.1, then until the release candidate of Electrum 4.0.0 is released, you'll need to use the Trezor interface here: https://wallet.trezor.io/

It's likely due to the updated Trezor firmware that makes some changes to the way native segwit is handled to prevent a (very unlikely) scenario whereby a user can be tricked into signing a transaction that makes them spend a large amount of BTC on miners fees.

As per the Trezor Release notes here:
Electrum
We are providing a patch for Electrum as a pull request #6198. It will be impossible to use Electrum with Trezor 1.9.1 and 2.3.1 until this patch is released.

Are you updated trezor firmware? because already issue when connected trezor into electrum. disconnet it and try to use electrum without connected into trezor.

Hi

I have a couple of electrum issues and would be very pleased to have some help on these.

I have recently installed Electrum on a computer.

I set up a wallet and used a Trezor to keep it secure.

I swept a private key from a paper wallet. Funds confirmed as usual and show in electrum.

I then tried to send the funds on and met with the error message -

DataError: Native segwit is disabled.

I tried to send to a blockchain account and also tried to send to another paper wallet. Both of them met with the same error.

Any ideas why this is happening?

Thanks
