If anything, you can also read the previous post and see if a problem that you'll likely encounter was already solved.
The UI of mobile and desktop are totally different but you just need to find the right buttons, they are named in a similar way.

I never tried to set up a channel on Electrum mobile but you can try it your self.
Gossip, nodes, Channels and pending will not show any info if the LN is not yet enabled.
To enable the LN you need to click the name of your wallet and it will show something like this below.
After enabling the LN status is online
If you are going to make your own channel try this.
Tap the 3 dots then go to channels and tap the new button. If the button is not working I think you must have a minimum 0.003 to be able to make a new channel.
I have just updated my electrum wallet today on my mobile phone to the latest version (4.0.2), I was surprised to see "lightning", I assumed it to be lightning network. I do not really know about it. I saw:

Connections with lightning nodes
Nodes: 0
Nodes in database
Channels: 0
Channels in database
Pending: 0
Channel updates to query
