I’m pretty sure almost every (if not all) service supports “3l addresses simple because they are out for many years (multisig and p2sh);

You can create a nested Segwit wallet (starting with “3”) by following this: https://bitcoinelectrum.com/creating-a-p2sh-segwit-wallet-with-electrum/

Thank you very much for your help, you gave me good indications. Cheesy

Have you asked those merchants whether or not they accept segwit (the one that start with 3..)?
They might not support bc1 address but there's a chance they support nested segwit address.
If they do support it, I think you should use that instead to save more fees.

Hello, lastly when I generate a new wallet the addresses begin with " bc1q ".
The problem is that some merchants said me that they are not able to send money to these address.
Why happened this ? What kind of address are these ?
How can I have again " standard " address ?
Thanks

- If you want to have a legacy address(starting with "1"):-

- Click on File menu then choose New/Restore then enter a new name for your new wallet then press next, then choose standard wallet then press next, then choose create a new seed then choose Legacy as your seed type instead of Segwit, then I believe you can continue the reset of the steps on your own.

- About Segwit addresses(starting with "bc1"), I believe this thread is very comprehensive:-

Those are Segwit addresses.
When you create a new wallet you have to select "Legacy" and not "Segwit".
