I initiated the trans using 2.7.11 windows standalone exe.  Preferences set to RBF, and I checked RBF box when I sent it.  Showed as Replaceable.  No confirmations after a couple hours so I right-click and try to increase the fee - it brings up a new window, and I click sign, key in pass, then click broadcast.  It popped with an error (don't remember which).  So I closed and opened 2.7.12, and eventually in 2.7.14.  Last two versions I tried both return:

error: The transaction was rejected by network rules.  (258: txn-mempool-conflict)
Not all nodes accept Opt-in RBF transactions. Only Bitcoin Core 0.12.0 and above allow for Opt-in RBF, even though disabled by default.

Try using another server instead.

Try copying the raw transaction and submit it to one of the sites listed here.

Edit:
Tried twice and works normally. I think it's server issues.

Other info that may be helpful

The parent is fully confirmed.
I have turned off Change Addresses, so this has one input and one output.  Still plenty of coin in the address to pay for increased fee.
I have tried the suggested increased fee, and I have tried jacking it up manually - same error.
I used Dynamic fee for initial send and had the slider in the middle.

I would be happy to increase the fee to get this in a block.  And I may face this again in the future, so I would like to know how to get RBF working.

All help is appreciated.
