There are still ads being run for this wallet as well, promising 37XRP on installation. I saw one earlier today. Took a quick look at the site and the different domain name was an immediate warning sign.
Also note the very small size of the download zip file.

Hello. Has anyone heard of the Electrum Ripple Wallet? I use the Electum litecoin wallet so would be interested if they have introduced one for ripple. I have not downloaded as I do not know if it is a scam. Any info appreciated.

Thank you for post this info,obviously it is a attempt that some inexperienced users "donate" some Ripple to this scamers.Since Electrum is very popular desktop/mobile BTC wallet and have some other legitimate forked wallets(BCH/LTC/DASH/BTG) it's no strange thing that someone decides to make some quick money in this way.

Why specifically mention this error "Error -30974 "?
This error occurs when there is no compatibility between the files with the old files, this means that the files in this wallet are the files of electrum + files added to it.(I did not download it to check these files).

1. There is no mentions about this wallet or website anywhere;
2. There is no github link in the page. The git icon at the top leads to the original Electum (BTC) repo;
3. The twitter icon leads to the original Electrum twitter account;
The whole website tries to make you think that this wallet was created by the same devs from the original Electrum wallet - which is not true. E.g: The docs page tells you to visit docs.electrum.org, and to email [email protected] if there is any issues. So, don't download it.
