i imported another key.. it scanned and doesnt show thew prior keys balance anymore? ....
When you add another private key does it not just add it to the list of private keys or does it delete the prior one?
if you are using Electrum and you are actually importing these private keys (not sweeping them) then import means add the new key to your wallet. it doesn't affect the previous ones. you are either doing something wrong, or it is possible that your computer is compromised and when you imported one key in your electrum it was stolen from you by a malware.
check your
address on a block explorer to see the transaction history in front of you and see what has happened.
With electrum,... it always says its sync and then disconnects... i try to spend from the available bal it shows allows me to sign the transactions
but then sits and comes back with server didnt respond? .....
make sure you are using the latest version of Electrum and download it from the right place (electrum.org) and also verify its signature.
as for the server connection problem make sure your firewall is not blocking Electrum's access to the internet. i remember there was a problem like this in one of the older versions.
Why does it show me so many unverified when i look them up on explorer its all confirmed...
and is there a txn limit per key it doesn't like? i have 6000txn or larger on some of the addresses/priv keys i have.
it shows them as unverified because you have not yet downloaded the blockchain_headers file which is used for "verifying" the transactions.
i still think im hitting a peak mem overflow issue .... what software should i use to remedy this issue?
sharing one
address which has that many transactions in its history here may help reproduce this bug and possibly fix it. not that i said "address" not "private key" you should never share your private key. an address starts with 1, 3 or bc1.
