Hi All. I have the same problem, the transaction does not pass. How can I cancel it?

The recommended fees for this one should be 0.0008BTC. I suggest you increase the fees if you check the "replaceable" box when creating the transaction, otherwise you have to wait up to 72 hours to let the network forget it.

Yeah, notice how all are in the same block. Once the first came through, all others came right with it. You should enable replace by fee (Settings -> Fees) as well as dynamic fees (same box) and check the "replaceable" box when creating a transaction. That way you can easily increase the fee in hindsight with electrum should you notice that it wasnt enough.

got you.. ill do that *_* <3

as i understand of what you saying,, transaction A is too low and is slowing everthing for its so low fee.

Yes.

actually i did it acccidently.. being a newbie maybe..

Maybe, maybe its electrum. There is at least one user that reported a bug with electrums dynamic fee feature.

so i should not try to do any more transactions i supose theyll get stuck waiting for the previouse ones..?

Lets do a little math to see whether or not sending another transaction is what you want to do. Eventually its your coins and your time and you have to decide which is more important (a quick confirmation or keeping as much coins as possible). I will name the transactions as last time.

Code:
D - 407 b - 164.865 sat/B fee
C - 403 b - 81.39 sat/B fee
B - 407 b - 30.221 sat/B fee
A - 406 b - 24.631 sat/B fee

Cointape[1] currently suggests a 240 satoshi per byte fee for a quick confirmation. Assuming similar size we need to find a fee X sat/B so that the average for all 5 transactions is 240 sat/B

Code:
    (164 + 81 + 30 + 24 + X)/5 = 240
<=> (299 + X)/5 = 240
<=> 299 + X = 1200
<=> X = 1200 - 299 = 901 ~= 900

A 900 sat/B fee would be 0.009 BTC/KByte, IIRC thats how electrum shows the fee. Considering that your transaction will likely be ~400 byte thats a pretty high fee. I could easily get 2 cups of black coffee (or 2 Big Macs) for that. There is another big caveat here. I dont know if miners analyse to this depth. This additional transaction (F) would be the 5th in your chain. If they only analyse chains until a certain length and this length is shorter than 5 all this wouldnt help. Maybe someone with more insight (achow101?) can post their opinion on this.

well all i have to is to wait how much it take should more than 1 week Sad ? , nothing can be done?. except waiting..

your explanation is so perfect, i apreciate that Smiley

There is always something that can be done. E.g. you could also try to replace A with a different transaction that is using the same coins. This is commonly called a double spend.

They all require the first one to confirm and your average fee over all is relatively low for something like CPFP to woŕk.

hi Shorena thanks for your reply..

but if u check my last transacction is a 160satoshis im paying 0.8$ usd fee it says 5 blocks.. https://blockchain.info/tx/2eb48c2158c88c9563af1a8ea75f8afff2ad87f4fa2a4444c593eee5005aa690 its the dynim fee recomen
nded.

shall i put even higher fees enable to get my transfers? i thought that one would be enough

thnks

You have 4 in total, lets call them A, B, C and D. A and B pay 25 and 30 satoshi per byte, which is pretty low. C pays 80 satoshi per byte which is ok if you have some time. D pays 160 satoshi per byte which should get you in the next block (or a few more at max).

D cant get confirmed until C is though. Same for B (needs C) and A (needs B). You created a chain. As a single unconfirmed transaction D would have been confirmed already. Due to its dependency on the other transactions it is not. There is something called CPFP (child pays for parent) where miners analyse these chains and check for late transactions in the chain that pay a very high. Confirming these chains could be profitable for them if the fee of the child is enough to make up for all previous transaction paying a low fee. I think in your case its a bit low for that. It should still work give some time though.
